It is really strong against NE and HU with subpar micros. They can't dispel the Frenzy fast enough so the Lich and some Fiends can attack 7 or more times before it get dispelled
My 2nd game in my first tournament, less than 5 minutes in, I accidentally kicked the power button on the voltage regulator. It shut down all the computers on one side of the table. The judges didn't want to let everybody go again so they just decided to give me the match because my zerglings (it was SC1) were already headed towards the enemy side. It was just a college dormitory tournament and most of us were noobs (I certainly was. I played less than 10 SC games by then. All I knew was zergling rush). My opponent was my roommate and he didn't mind the loss. I got eliminated the very next game because my zerglings went to the wrong spot and I didn't know how to defend. But I wish we played WC3 instead. Not that I'd be any better at it (Played pvp only 1x with my buddies) but I much prefer the setting, gameplay, graphics etc. I'm almost tempted to try it today because of Bronze League Heroes but I have too little time on my hands nowadays. Good times.
Gosh, wp NE, those kiting expo is some really frustating gameplay to dealt..... UD got that extra gold for sacrificing buildings while NE just watch there seeing their expo pillaged 👁️👄👁️
Imagine having to work that hard for 9 MMR. That heal ward he mentions at the end is at 25:50 and he finds it in like 5 seconds.... I had to replay the video multiple times to see it...
Back in the wc3 days Lost Temple was always one of the tournament maps. Not a fan tbh. But occasionally having these insane games are pretty fun to watch.
The battle at around 33:45 was so chaotic. How did you know you can win? I always looks chaotic battles like this. It looked like you're loosing, especially when you lost the DK. Anyway gg wp!

TOO MANY FIENDS AT THE END, 4-5 FIENDS AND THE REST FLYING YOU WOULD HAVE WRECKED. 5. AGAIN NO 3RD HEROE? (1 SILENCE OR SLEEP). Hey grubby, can you make a video or do a grubbytalks about how the release of TFT changed the meta at the time? For example, how did faerie dragons change the use of casters against night elf (if it did at all)
It doesn't seem like it deterred grubby from using casters and statues. As a matter of fact, the statues stood there getting zapped more often than I expected! It was interesting to see that they could simply move a few steps away and not get zapped though. Sincerely interesting to me, because I've never seen faerie dragons be so useful!
Im aware this is going to sound stupid but i guess im not high level enough to figure this out alone :D 1. Why would you stick to 2 heroes and not go for a third? Sure the 3rd one would be frail for a while but it feels to me like you are at a disadvantage when playing with just 2.Furthermore, a Sleep, Impale, Silence or cold Arrow would ve helped control the DH or shut down the KotG's ult (not that this felt overpowered), no? 2. Is the damage received from the statues less than the overall healing / mana regen they provide when you leave them in the mana flare range? I know this becomes super micro intensive to manage but, to my noobie eye, it would feel like those faerie dragons could be a "quick win" target Very interesting game, thank you for sharing it!
They'd have no idea what they're watching to be able to learn tactics from it haha. But this game was enjoyable AF, everyone who likes wc3 should watch :)
Nice game but I wish ppl would start resigning earlier. Sometimes I play these long drawn out games against noobs, when they have no chance (for r example five hero kills in a row)
How do you think Warcraft 3's Paladin would do in DOTA or DOTA 2? I asked my brother about it and he though that 40 second Invulnerability was too much.
I was thinking he should have picked them up with a ghoul or fiend since he had backpack researched since early on. He could have dropped them near his shop or something

Speed diff, grubby was running to his main army, the dude was attack moved, so his main army and heroes were behind and bodyblocked

40 seconds immunity would be insane considering you could turn him into an actual dps Carry
