Is the New 2023 Ford Ranger a capable off-road vehicle?

- It's time to put our new 2023 Ford Ranger to the test to see if it will be a capable off-road vehicle. Our Ranger is an XLT Tremor addition. It comes with a electric rear locker, upgraded control arms, fox shocks, skid plates and one inch extra ground clearance than a standard Ranger.
With all that being said our Ranger is still standard from Ford. No upgrades have been made to this vehicle.

I have a Ranger FX4 package, I added a 3 1/2 inch lift with upgraded wheel/tires which added a little more hight. I think your Ranger would definitely benefit from the lift kit.
We completely agree we were looking at the camburg kit. What lift and tire size are you running?
Ford really playing with us, this looks like the 2020-2022 Ford Ranger Raptor if that was here in Asia or AU with 2" lift. But at least I've seen plenty of Rangers in CA and NY back in Dec 2023 and that brings me so much joy. I still drive a MY2015 Ford Ranger 2.2L 4x2 Wildtrak. Will move up to the 4x4 soon (hopefully).

Thanks for this video, I have a 2020 Ford Ranger FX4 package with a 3.5inch lift and 295 70R17. I need to head back to hungry valley and try this course.
Hungry Valley is a lot of fun and a great place to test any vehicle.
Dam the Tremor comes with a Trail Militia button.

3.5 lift and some 33 will make a big difference. My stx with that same set up did great 3.5 and 33 .my base bronco no lift has 35s
We will definitely be looking at some lift options in the future. We just wanted to see how it would perform stock and so far, it has impressed us.
33 10.5 will fit with a 3.5 crash bars need to be removed .
Not bad.
So far, we have been very happy with this truck.

I know!!! Unfortunately, we needed this one to pull double duty. Nate needed a commuter vehicle, and we needed something that would be capable of offering. We also live on an unmaintained dirt road that can get pretty rutted out in winter.
