That was heartwarming! It's true that most mother in the Philippines teach their kids to behave all the time and not cause trouble. This one hit me straight in the heart. Love it.
the thing is in the Philippines most household don't have a washing machine and most people handwash their laundry so when kids have dirty uniforms moms really dslike it, unless they have maids then the maids get mad. Since you guys are on the Pilipino commercial train why don't you react to Johnson's your touch is enough, mom commercial
why do you think that the kids on the vids came from families have washing machines? i can see half of them not have washing machines and even with washing machines the mud on those clothes need to be hand scrubbed and bleached because it won't do t machine wash them. electricity in the philippines is highly expensive btw, even of you hae washing machines they're often used only with bed sheets or curtains, not necessarily for clothes
Dude, I'm a filipino and I never knew you had filipino roots til I saw yer review with the Jollibee commercials. And I have been subscribed to yer channel for months now and been watching yer videos before that. HAHAHA DAMN DUDE!
I lost it when the 1st boy said: "May I help you?" And you two were like.. aawww... like its the rarest thing in the world.. actually most reactors of this video have the same reaction. Ive seen most filipino kids were taught in school and home to be always respectful and helpful, you'll see things like that everyday but not as often as before like the 80s-90s.. when most of the kids that age were so respectful to the elderlies and helpful to anyone, its when most men would give up their seats to women and elderly people, students helping out their teachers carry their bags or stuff.. that was pretty common here. Only not all of the kids do that nowadays.. which is sad. But when I was a little it was an everyday thing for us..
i just want to answer the lady about your question about "who talks about their child for them being dirty"..in the Philippines some people have this mentality that the behaviour of your child reflects with how your parents raise you..so that why she said she dont want hear any bad things about her daughter because it reflects it her as a mom.
As a filipina mom we teach our children a good attitude help other people without asking in return and we will give our best support to help our children to pursue their dreams..
I cried so hard watching Johnson's ad for Mother's Day. It's entitled "Your Touch is Enough" I believe and I wailed in a coffeeshop. Jesus, I was a mess. Watch it. I mean really, it would just gut you. Love from the Philippines is all. Lol.
Filipino children are taught to be helpful both at home and school. There is Good manners and right conduct subject in every schools in the Philippines.
Do a reaction to : Animated history of Japan , Animated history of Poland and Animated history of Russia . All of them are awesome videos each of different style . pleas please these are amazing videos :)
I see that Americans have such a different culture. Not bad, not good, just different. I'm Filipino but I live in Europe and the word 'baby' and 'dirty' when put together isn't weird. I didn't see anything awkward until he pointed it out. I guess the translation was done so literally. If the target market was worldwide, I guess they have to edit the translations for the American viewers. I also didn't know that Americans would think kissing their own children on the lips is perverted! Learned something new today. Then I realize that when I watch American shows, they censor a lot of things on TV as compared to European TV so they are very sensitive when it comes to sexuality. Not saying it's bad. It's just different.
6:46 "I didn't know I needed a Filipino child just now..." I'm here watching and thought, good thing Greg didn't offer something indecent to her--him being part Filipino... 😜 Greg was raised well too like those kids in the commercial... 😁
"Philippines" is the anglo/english name of the country. "Pilipinas" is the native name of the country. In native language, pilipino is male and pilipina is female. Filipino/filipina is a hispanized term for male/female. "Hispanized" since the abakada alphabet - tagalog alphabet, does not have the letters C, F, J, Q, V, X, and Z
In AMERCA they say "Dont Talk to Stranger" but in our Country Philippines we don't care who ever you are, the word Stranger to us never exist.. cause we are opened minded people..
Greg, you said your mom is Filipino, does your mom react like any of the other moms in the video? Like personality wise? Everything needs to be organized and stuff etc...
that mom with the white shirt really annoys me...why the hell would you say to your kid that they should be the one washing it? i mean, she's so overreacting wth...anyway, good video tho, i liked it :)
you have misinterpreted the words ( being Dirty ) it is American dialogue,,that is stigmatized to sexual perversion, it how the Filipinos say the words Why are you Dirty ,,, it also showed you,, that these kids are dirty from soiling their clothe as you saw it ( why are you questioning it in your mind that is attached to sexualization ),,, . Sometimes we are lost in translation !!! Peace !!!! not to offend you ,,,

AWOW STATISTICS. "Most"
Even if it were true, those children were definitely not from houses without a washing machine stoops.

That's true though, not just the Philippines. Your children are a reflection of how they were raised so bratty kids are a reflection on their parents

As a filipina mom we teach our children a good attitude help other people without asking in return and we will give our best support to help our children to pursue their dreams..
