"Date" = love that never ends = father died, video pretecorded= makes you cry "Crush" = love that perseveres = ended up together= makes you happy "Vow" = love that is unconditional = stayed as friends = makes us wtf Three types of love.
actually cry is correct... the word "made" in the sentence already stated that its in the past... if you use "cried" in that sentence, then that would be redundancy...
was minding my own business going through countless youtube videos and honestly it was too late when i noticed i was crying like a little girl. damn you well thought out commercials. huge fan of yours Greg hope ur channel grows lol
guys, i am just rewatching your old vlog. its always great repeating things you have seen before. thanks to video. i know that it is very akward if you would cry in front of someone. but you cant resist the natural flow of emotion, just what you two did in this vlog. me too, i always cry watching this commercial. it hits you right.
Kazuma was bullying Aqua Funny how Filipinos are obsessed with that saying, being Roman Catholic and all. Surely, the belief in an eternal life after death would oppose that POV. Unless you are a Filipino atheist, and believe in science. Which in that case, you should know that energy (not the usable kind) will exist forever, in one form or another. Anyway, not starting a debate. Just an observation.
Incog2k6 It's really in reference to two people being in love "forever." on the face of it, there's no conflict between a Christian afterlife and that POV.
Your fellow Kababayan's appreciate this including me Greg! Proud to be a Filipino! 💯 Fun fact: The last Commercial became a meme for some time here in the Philippines, maybe because most Filipino's that Valentine's Day are victims of Friend zone or something 😂 Reel Rejects all the way!!! 💯
I'm loving you more everytime you says that your half filipino,im smiling everytime you mentioned your mom in your vids! thank you for embracing your filipino heretage, mabuhay ka!
Jollibee has been around for almost 39years here in the Philippines. Imagine how many filipino lives have it been a part of. It was also a part of my childhood. Me and my siblings enjoy eating here together! It was great family bonding every sundays after going to church.
guys, here are clarifications: for "crush", the geeky boy & the burger girl ended up together. the two even attended their homecoming together after years have passed. the guy got late because he had to put their grandchildren to sleep. to appease his girl, he got her a burger where it says, "sorry, i'm late". that sort of made the audience think that he's been desperately after the same girl over the decades. you hard a hard time getting the message behind it because you picked the one without english translation. for "date", when that scene happened, the dying dad has already passed away. the mom teared up but has already accepted their fate. she smiled because the message of her deceased husband gave her the strength to carry on. the date scene also, kind of, flattered her. for "vow", the guy & his ultimate dream girl never became sweethearts. they were only like college buddies. though there were scenes that showed them together, not one intentionally suggested some intimacy going on. the guy had good intentions & even if they were not meant for each other, he made a vow to be her best friend, thus, being present at her wedding as one of the best men. kinda like julia roberts' character in the movie "my best friend's wedding" where she played her best friend's bride's maid of honor.
There is also "almusal" means breakfast, "kahera" means cashier, "regalo ni lolo" means grandfather's gift(its for christmas though). And several more. Jolibee is already in the US, canada and other parts of the world, several mentioned in the US are california, seattle and chicago.
that second short movie with the mom and the kid. her husband already died but despite of that even right before he died he made sure his wife still celebrates the Valentine's day even if its without him but with their son. His son will do the same things to his wife when he was still alive to celebrate valentines day. Gee its first for me seeing this and dang I cried!
In "crush" in the last part he wrote "sorry i'm late"... and he said "it took awhile for our grandkids to fall asleep"..,. So yes they did end up together
love is not just all about happy endings... it is also about sacrifices for the one you love... being their for them and taking care of them even your not their.
i love your reaction guys..its nice when someone react to something and video tape it at the same time like you are unlike others who watch 'em first before video taping it, the reaction will not be geniune..
The first video, they actually ended up together..the line means "for those who never gave up for love" Jollibee do this kind of commercials once in a while to inspire people or to promote Filipino values😊 have a nice day!
IWantMyLauren too... I'm a Filipino-Jew and part italian also... and kosher... lol anyway... I like your reaction videos and how you guys really put the "reaction" to it after the vid... more pow to your channel... ;)
what their really saying is that in your everyday life. jollibee will be there with you. which is true... jollibee has become part of most filipinos life. coming back home to the philippines it wont be complete if they dont it at jollibee. celebration like b-days or graduation or the like also in jollibee... depressed... or even in financial crisis. we still find ways to eat at jollibee. that is why they just showed us whatever happens. they will be part of our life sad or in happy endings.
The burgers you should try in jolibee are, champ, amazing aloha, cheezy bacon mushroom, regular yum and regular yum with cheese...aside from the burgers, they have peach mango pie and tuna pie, chicken joy(fried chicken), palabok fiesta and spaghetti, jolly hotdog, and the sundaes are hot fudge, caramel and rocky road, but years back they had strawberry sundae.
Daddy is not dying. He already did pass away. He couldn't make it anymore. "Date" They ended up being together. The guy came in late because apparently their grandchildren found it hard to sleep and they did but late. "Crush"
Jollibee Valentine commercial was all about how PHILIPPINES becomes and always lovable country because we can love, we can give and we can sacrifice for the sake of true love. If you would read our history about fighting NATION WHO WANTS TO COLONIZE THE PHILIPPINES SINCE 1500, many of our heroes died and sacrifice all for the freedom that we have now.
I suggest that both of you watch the sequels to "CRUSH" (which is "HOMECOMING" and "VOW" (which is "PERFECT PAIRS). I believe this will enlighten both of you and answer the questions you have from watching the videos here.
Crush,, at the end,,, he is late because,, it took a long time for their grandchildren to sleep,,, Date,,, Dad did not make it !!! I think he pre recorded this video before Dad died Vow ,,, sometines it's hard to voice out your feelings ,, when you love somebody deeply,, or maybe there is a reason behind all of these circumstance,,, The most important is ,,, that there is a comfort food ,, awaiting at JolliBee,,, very Clever commercial only in the Philippines,,, they know how to reach out ,, what life all about !!! no matter what ,,,love is a comfort !!
The boy and the girl in the "Vow" video are being best friends in the whole story of the video. He's been friendzoned since from the start. He said "I'll always be your best friend." Probably the girl already have a boyfriend before the two of them meet each other.
lauren saying "i wanna be in jollibee right now" after the 'ordering' part in the Vow is every Filipino's reaction while watching that commercial series lol
hi guys! i noticed that the first commercial was not translated to english but fyi they end up together.he was late because he tucked their grandchildren to sleep.anyways, there's another commercial by jollibee that i think you should check out its entitled ang regalo ni lolo w/c means grandpa's gift.
in the first video, they end up together! you just didnt get it coz it doesnt have english subtitle..but in the end it says like the old man says sorry he's late coz he still had to take care of their grandchildren
OMG I legit was thinking about something like this meanwhile I was showering and Now I watch something like this..... "Ever get the feeling of Dejá vu"
"Date" = love that never ends = father died, video pretecorded= makes you cry
"Crush" = love that perseveres = ended up together= makes you happy
"Vow" = love that is unconditional = stayed as friends = makes us wtf
Three types of love.
The "Date" should be in a superbowl, it is an eye opener.
Dude if you put that commercial in a Superbowl... THERE WILL BE A RIOT of people bawling their eyes out :D
the last dialogue in the first one says
"sorry im late, it took a while before our grandkids fell asleep"
I guess they don't read the subtitle
nope, the subtitle was in tagalog thats why they didnt understand the ending of "crush"
in short they end up together.
magaling
the mom's cry is really effective. I have watched this for the nth time, and I am still affected.
Paul Vicente V Curimao I still cry on this... every fucking time! Good job mom!
that's why McDonalds can never beat Jollibee here in Philippines.
Arkien C. True
hahaha. 😂😂
Arkien C. Only because McDonalds fails to reach the right Filipino taste.
Arkien C. Hahaha hell fucking right dude
Only the fries of mcdonald is satisfying to me
Damn that last video had a better plot twist than an M. night movie
well the commercial shows different kinds of love, it may not be a happy ending at all times but still its love in one form or another.
Did anyone else say WHAAAAAAT at the same they did went we found out that the the girl in the last one was marrying someone else
Assassinking 99 i did bruh.
Assassinking 99 i was so fucking mad..friendzone
Assassinking 99 I was mad cuz out of all guy she choose him instead of the good looking guy.
mine was "BULLSHIT!!!"
Assassinking 99 yes, about 0.5 seconds later than they did. RIP ears.
it's just cute to see guys crying and was touched by this kind of commercials... you're a good man dude.
Im so proud of you dude for being so true to your reaction and being half proud Filipino,, we feel that 👍🏻😃🇵🇭
I never thought Greg was half Filipino....imagine that...
Mike Sapungan and also his friend that look like jesus is half Filipino also.
sakuragi tensai you mean John? haha
Mike Sapungan i knew he was half filipino the first time i saw him...
Mike Sapungan His brother, Anthony aka Jaby Koay, looks even more Mestizo than Greg. Look him up here on YT, if you haven't already.
I love that these commercials show the different sides of love. Oftentimes, true love shows itself in the most painful of life's moments.
The "date" commercial made all Filipinos cried too!😭
randomshey teh, cry lang, hindi cried.
Feisty Quotes ate cried is gramatically correct kasi po nangyari na, past-tense.
actually cry is correct... the word "made" in the sentence already stated that its in the past... if you use "cried" in that sentence, then that would be redundancy...
Niels Eric Calasin kyaa ba't dinefend mo po? Huhu
i was so relieved when greg started crying at the valentines day video too
CRUSH: The guy said "Sorry I'm late, it took a while before our grand kids fell asleep". Lol ;)

Great! That's all I needed in my life right now, crying because of commercials.
I fell on my bed watching this... As I lie down with my puddle of tears....
guys, i am just rewatching your old vlog. its always great repeating things you have seen before. thanks to video. i know that it is very akward if you would cry in front of someone. but you cant resist the natural flow of emotion, just what you two did in this vlog. me too, i always cry watching this commercial. it hits you right.
Hahahahaha, Pinoys just laugh it off...even the sadness...that's our coping mechanism.
Dodi Panganiban Kasi walang forever

On the first one, the guy was saying sorry for being late because he was being kept busy by their grandkids confirming that they ended up together.
Three different kinds of love, sweet. I must buy the food because I appreciate the work.
Ro Hart You won't be sorry. Try the ChickenJoy first...and no, I do not work for Jolibee.
Greg's contagious laugh (especially when he was also crying) made me subscribe...
you are right...jollibee it means to us especially kids...and most of the episode story it happened in real life...thank you....
that's the most genuine reaction I've ever seen... Thumbs up!
The first video (Crush): The last scene, the note on the burger states "Sorry, I'm Late," then he said, "it took so long for our grandkids to sleep."
The third one is like the ultimate friend zone video 😂😂😂
The ads did exactly what it is supposed to do....extract EMOTIONAL reactions. MAD (Vow), SADNESS (Date), HAPPY (Crush). All with LOVEas an undertone.
LOL these commercial keeps your emotion in a roller coaster ride
The Reel Rejects....The Normies....Blind Wave.... tri fecta of the best reaction channels on TH-cam for me.
you guys look good together. the glimpsed with each other was cute.
thank you for beautiful crazy reaction hahaha ... this is great!
from the philippines!
Your fellow Kababayan's appreciate this including me Greg!
Proud to be a Filipino! 💯

I'm loving you more everytime you says that your half filipino,im smiling everytime you mentioned your mom in your vids! thank you for embracing your filipino heretage, mabuhay ka!
lol The lack of eng subs for the 1st video ruined it for you. It was the best ending.. the HAPPIEST ONE!
Jollibee has been around for almost 39years here in the Philippines. Imagine how many filipino lives have it been a part of. It was also a part of my childhood. Me and my siblings enjoy eating here together! It was great family bonding every sundays after going to church.

I was so mad when the Bride ended up with a different guy and not her best friend in "Vow". thanks for reacting.
Your reactions for The Vow and The Date was the best I've seen. LOVE IT!!!
greg, nicely said about unconditional love. it shows your Filipino side.
Oh gosh! Tears really came down on his cheeks 😢
DATE Episode always make me cry! I love you jollibee!
This is great you two, just genuine reaction - not forced.
There is also "almusal" means breakfast, "kahera" means cashier, "regalo ni lolo" means grandfather's gift(its for christmas though). And several more.
Jolibee is already in the US, canada and other parts of the world, several mentioned in the US are california, seattle and chicago.
