Just watched this again for the umpteenth time, and it still makes me laugh 😂. Two of THE greatest actors from Down Under 🇦🇺 together having a great time, and the best bit in the whole BAFTA show that evening.
Russell was just born there, but lived his whole life in Australia, making him an Aussie. He has the citizenship, lived there all his life and has the accent. SO both, Rusty and Jacko are Australians!
Yes you are right, thank you very much for your love and support throughout my career, I really do appreciate it, tell me what's your favorite movie of all my movies you have seen so far?
I love how in the space of about 1 minute they manage to pretty much own everyone else XD. I also love Crowe's expression at 1:01 onwards, he looks so confused!
Russell is a New Zealander not a Australian tho because Russell was born & raised in New Zealand 🇳🇿, & Russell also is part Maori in his heritage to let you know.
Almost (: what actually happened was that Bryan Singer called Russell to ask if he would play the role. However, he declined as he had just played an action hero in Gladiator, but he suggested Hugh Jackman for the role... And the rest is history!
Yes it was definitely a wonderful night. Thank you very much for your love and support throughout my career, I really do appreciate it, tell me what's your favorite movie of all my movies you have seen so far?

I had no idea Russell Crowe is shorter than Hugh. Honestly, I've never paid a great deal of attention to 'details' of Russell. Now, with all the LES MIZ stuff revving up, I'll see them together more. They are a hoot together.
Hahaha. Thank you very much for your love and support throughout my career, I really do appreciate it. Tell me what's your favorite movie of all my movies you have seen so far?
Daniel Radcliffe is just sitting there like "my gawd they're hilarious. And they're Australian! fair dinkum I wish I was aussie and funny like them" xD
Russell is a New Zealander not a Australian tho because Russell was born & raised in New Zealand 🇳🇿, & Russell also is part Maori in his heritage to let you know.
Yes Russell Crowe was born in New Zealand and no he does not have his australian citizenship as he was always out of the country so they couldn't give him one. However yes he moved to oz and spent most of his life there so once again Nz and Oz are fighting over something both believe is rightfully theirs.
+Luke Kellerman yeah but zew zealand (though some difference in histories and culture) is basically been adopted by australia, were are two continents (Islands since we don't have enough states to be considered a continent) out in the middle of nowhere, we are like brother / sister country's lol, act like it too.
Trust the universe sorry for replying to a comment from a year ago but, New Zealand has not 'basically' been adopted by australia, the only similarities in our history and culture is sport, besides that we are completely different. We are completely different countries, however we are sibling countries, more like brother/brother though.
These two are absolute legends

When you realise russel crowe is actually born and raised in new zealand and part maori but moved to aussie when he was 8 tf
His accent is Australian, though, and I’m pretty sure he considers himself Australian
@@sean95 that doesn’t make him Australian…
@@regs9959 yes it does, being Australian is a choice, and Rusty made it. He calls himself Australian all the time.
