Any video on the actual work to remove the springs? Im working on my 2021 and i had to by a spring compression kit to compress the spring to be able to remove the clip ring.
Did you also replace the leaky Fox caps and refill with nitrogen? If so, does it follow the same procedure as the non-livevalve, shocks and same volume fill of 200psi?
The live valve isn’t a night and day difference in my experience. So unless you got a good deal on one I’d say you’re just as well off with a non live valve and doing a spare or sending the shocks out to get reworked...
My 23 with Live Valve is smooth as silk (in Normal Mode). Best go back to the dealer! Also, bump it to Sport Mode and it’s obviously stiffer. That’s how you know it’s working.
@@mikeoutdoors769 so orderred the kit.. showed up today and two of the springs are 6" long and the other two are like 4" long. Pretty sure I got the wrong springs sent to me.... I verified that I ordered the correct set. Even in the description it says fronts are 6 and Rears are supposed to be 10
I’m not sure what comes in their kits. I called them up and told them what size springs I wanted. I know it’s not what they normally do. What weight of shocks did they give you? Definitely sounds like they sent the wrong kit though.
@@mikeoutdoors769 I have no idea... i just called them up verfied some info. Then went online and placed the correct order fot the 1000x live valve 4 seater. The description still said 10" rear 6" front springs. I just spoke to them and they stated they forgot to edit the listing when creating it. Idk
@@mikeoutdoors769 dang so disappointing, I drove a 19 R with 35s and it beat me to death. I was really hoping the live valve with 31s or 32s was going to be a softer ride at slow driving
Any updates on how those tender springs worked for you with the live valve. We need new videos too lol
Jeremy C they’re coming I promise! Actually just got back from picking up a big new item for it...

Yes, we swapped the caps and put them to 200psi. Rides so much better!
Any chance you could publish part numbers?
800mxz I actually don’t know the part number. I just call them up and tell them what I want.
The guy at all thing utv says they only have the tender springs for the 4 door. Where can I find them for the two door?
I just called him and told him what size and weight springs I wanted and he had them. Probably for a Rzr application.
I was looking to spend $600+ on another big name brand but I like your thinking!
John Burgess just trying to help
Would the same spring rate apply to a 4 seater?
John Burgess no, the 4 seaters are 400/400 springs. I’d probably do 300 or 350 depending on the size of people that ride in the back seats
Which color blue did they use on yours? Their web site list two different blues sky blue and velocity blue. Love your videos lots of help .
Do you think the live valve is worth it or should I just get a talon r and add a tire rack all the way on the back to help with the bucking ?

Do you have the set up measurements you used, just ordered mine the other day.
I’ll try and get the measurements for you. I don’t have them written down
@@mikeoutdoors769 that would be great, thank you
@@mikeoutdoors769 Did you ever get these measurements?
How do I reset my live valve . I have a 23 1000rs and it's always super stiff. Idk it the system is working
I’m not sure how to reset the live valve. Sorry

Who did you get them from? I'm trying to find a set that fits my talon 1000x-4 live valve

where did you get these springs and manufacture of them?

Subbed, I’m new to your channel. What happened to your red Talon?
DUNE YXZ I’ve still got it. It’s my baby!
👍👍👍
_Doc_ TEAM WAX OFFROAD Thanks buddy!
What about the fronts springs
Front shocks always felt like they were good. Just the rears we’re too stiff and would buck you around on the whoops and stuff.

@@mikeoutdoors769 Thanks man, I will be talking to them!
Hey man getting rdy to pull the trigger on the 21 live valve R. I have to ask, stock for stock. Is the live valve a softer ride than the older Rs?
Jordan Chitwood I’d say that the non live valve is a softer ride. The live valve has way less body roll at higher speeds though.
@@mikeoutdoors769 dang so disappointing, I drove a 19 R with 35s and it beat me to death. I was really hoping the live valve with 31s or 32s was going to be a softer ride at slow driving
I have the reservoir caps on the red one. Filled to 200psi and I think that really helps too. Haven’t done it on the live valve yet
Do they have Talon X springs?
Yes they do!
