- Following up on Volume 1, we return to the LE&E at the mid-century mark. The transition era, now in full swing, brings new types of first generation power to the Boston-based trunk line as venerable steam locomotives, even if still relatively common, are further replaced.
Footage from the heavy traffic LE&E passenger and freight mainlines out of Boston, the sprawling Cincinnati Union Depot complex on the Ohio River, the LE&E's CCFtW&C subsidiary in Ohio, and much more are represented, as well as brief cameos from few other railroads along the LE&E right of way.
We hope you enjoy more scenes from the Lake Erie & Eastern: the class I that never was.

That's good. Lake Erie and Eastern Railroad. They have good stuff. Passenger streamlined E units and steam locomotives and freight F units and steam locomotives though some F units are seen in passenger service. Want to see them? You can with the Lake Erie and Eastern
