Fantastic video!! 🤩👏👍 Thanks a lot 🙏 I’ll use the information in this video when I visit Lisbon the next time 💖👏👍 thanks again and keep up the great work 👍🙏👏
I love how Amalia dropped the robe on the floor, but the reality for most...we hang the robe on the hook. I enjoyed it. It depicted the mood at that moment for Amalia.
Fantastic video guys! In my humble opinion it was one of your best! It was super interesting and entertaining, the perfect mix of education and fun. 😎👌🏼

Just got back from 8 wonderful days in Lisbon. We had a fabulous time touring with Joel from Sagres vacation. I can't wait to go back again in Summer 2023 and go to all these wonderful places you have mentioned in your video. This is a great guide!
Lisbon was one of my favourite cities in Europe that I have visited along with Barcelona, Rome, Seville, Valletta, Cordoba, Granada, Florence and Venice. In a weird way, it reminds me of San Francisco a little bit
Hi there....I LOVED this video. I live in Lisbon and thank's for the tips of places that I heven't been yet. I'll write down and visit them ad soon as I come back ftom Rio. Beautiful vídeo.
Great video! I like the editing. I wonder if Lisbon is kid friendly? Meaning, are there things to do with a kid? That hotel is awesome, and not too pricey. Thanks for the tips . 😀
I am as much in love with Lisbon as you guys are, and have been for many years. The first time I came, there was no MacDonalds as yet! Avoid the tourist traps (they weren't there 25 years ago...). First simple rule, as you say: avoid restaurants where there is a waiter outside trying to lure customers inside. Good restaurants don't need this. For simple, wholesome food, go to a non-tourist area and enter a small "tasca" (bistrot) with 5 or 6 tables. We stayed at the Porto Bay Liberdade before and can only recommend it (no sponsorship!). Hotel Altis Avenida I also highly recommend; and have a "sapateira" (crab) at the Pinocchio restaurant around the corner (but there are several other fine seafood places in the city).
This makes me wanna book a flight so bad. I have a love/hate for Lisboa but when I’m not there i miss it. Its been like 16 months since i was last in Portugal i miss it alot
You guys are amazing! This is an AWESOME video and contents. Lisbon is my fav city in the world, every time I go, I discover new places, so charming! Congrats for this video. Love both 👫 of you and Lara 🐶.
I say this without any irony: i prefer when foreigners praise and talk about the good things in my Portugal. (Although to be true, Joen and Amelia have adapted so well to living in Portugal that they have become practically natives to the land). When someone from a given country gives high praises to his/her own country it can be a bit suspicious, it can be too needlessly proudful (and so very often it's from fascists who are praising not the real true country but a fsntasy version that only exists in their own. heads). But when it cames from someone from abroad, it csn feel more honest. Not that a portuguese poiting out some good things from Portugal would be alwsys wrong, not at all. There are things that are uniquivocally great about this country, which Joen and Amelia have pointed out like the general weather in all seasons (especially in the south and Lisboa is part of the southern regions), the general hospitality of the portuguese and our food/cousine and drinks, especially the wines. Great job as always, Joen and Amelia.
I don't doubt that some of the tuk tuk drivers are nice. The problem is the price. Unless you go on a long trip with a set price, it's just ridiculous. 20-30€ for a 10-15 min trip is standard.
I can recommend but it's hidden away. It's called Frangasqueira Nacional in R. Impresa Nacional 11am to 3pm then 6pm till late. It's inside Travessa do Monte do Carmo intersecting with Rua de Sao Marcal. It's a very narrow area cars can't fit in this street. It's really hidden away you park off rua da escola politecnia and go down r. Sao Marcal and turn right into r. Monte do Carmo and it's like right there. They cook amazing no frills barbequed chook with chips and the great prices for the quality that you are getting. It's brazilian portuguese couple that run the show and they're always busy. A must place for takeaway or sit down. They kick a goal with both feet with this place the oil they use and the spices are amazing. Please try it and review it and I'll pretend I'm eating there through a time travel machine.😂😂😂😂 Great video by the way.
