I have an Equinox 900. I couldn't justify a Manticore as a first detector. Though it does seem to be quite a machine. Watch, they'll drop the price now. LOL!

Were you using the 900? I just bought one too. The number difference betwee the 800 and 900 is driving me nuts. I have been thinking about returning the 900 and getting the Mantacore.

I love digging at my local park, I always find pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, crushed cans, nails, nuts/bolts, too.
I totally agree I am always finding stuff that I have no idea ended up in a park like that. It is a lot of fun

I am and I love it. I think I like using it better than the larger stock coil. It does take a little longer to clear an area but not in a hurry anyway
