I'm a Clemson fan and I don't think we will win, but we are capable. The last time Ga and Clemson met was just 3 years ago and Ga was only able to score 3 offensive points.
Clemson's defense is still elite; its the offense that has sputtered the last 3 seasons. But even last season being their worst in years, 3 of the 4 losses were by 1 score, and 2 of those were in overtime. Just 3 plays going a different way and Clemson would have been an 11-1 team last year. In year 2 of Cade as a starter, year 2 of Garrett Riley, and hopefully WRs actually staying healthy, there is no reason not to expect improvement.
Again, I am not predicting that Clemson will win. I don't think they will. But ppl who scoff and laugh this team off are just displaying their ignorance.
As a Clemson fan, I like our chances. We'll have the talent to win, just got to put it all together.
50- 50 chance , any one can be beat , look at Alabama, the greatest team in college football history, Clemson 44 , Alabama 17 , a blow out so it is always possible to beat Georgia 😊

One thing we have learned from Clemson is to never count them out. If and big IF the offense can use Wesco and Moore to their advantage and hurt that D-line as well as keep Beck in check they can pull it off.
Not a Clemson fan but all they need is for the media to talk their trash and Dabo could have them ready to beat Georgia in week one.

@@jefferyparker4277 sure, but we aren't talking about a Cinderella situation here, so how driven the preparation is for either side is relevant, esp for a Clemson team that came out lame week 1 last year due to underestimating duke. Being underestimated makes a difference.

If Clemson beats Georgia, it's certainly because Klubnik makes a big leap in the offseason, I agree. However, something that just might matter even more is the improvement of Clemson's offensive line. Cade had almost no time in the pocket last season, and it showed. Forced passes due to bad blocking breed turnovers. So, if the Matt Luke acquisition pays the dividends that Clemson hopes it will, the Tigers have a shot.
You'll know the names Bryant Wesco and TJ Moore, I can promise that. Tigers defense is quite easily the best UGA will see all year as well.

Clemson fan here, and i gotta say- i am quietly confident. I was skeptical until about 2 weeks ago. Clemson has the talent, the coach, and the hunger. I can see them beating GA. GA is more vulnerable in 1st week after Bowers and McConkey went pro. Clemson D-Line is a problem for anybody they play.Their secondary is the key to success

Clemsons defence can keep them in any game however the offence would have to play much better than they have in several years. I would love to see it happen but I'm not drinking the kool-aid. I would take Clemson + 12.5 UGA 27 CU 17

puhlease.. BUT.. most everyone is not ready on day 1, including GEORGIA, they always get better as the season goes on. Now a team like Clemson doesn't turn over players as much, neither losing nor gaining like the PORTAL teams and players, maybe that cohesiveness will pay off for Dabo
