I guess when you think of the internals, most of it would be where it plugs in. So even if half of it is gone, it can still output to the left speaker as it does not need the cassette player or right speaker to function (well, barely function).
Nearly everyone had a red portable stereo back in the 80s and early 90s so nobody should lose a night's sleep over this one. Red portable stereo's were so mass-produced back then they are hardly rare, it's very easy to find a red portable stereo on EBay or at a car boot sale ( if you want one so badly ).
Ha ha even Australia gets its share of money grabbing American preachers. Are they actually allowed to ask for money over the radio there or is that banned like here in the UK? You forgot to mention the crappy make on the back of the speakers. I fell off my chair laughing when you said the make was OK on another similar video.
