    My admiration for the invited guest. He is amazing. Biruk በጣም ብዙ ግዜ እኔ ብቻ ነኝ የማውቀው አትበል። እንግዳው እምነቴ ይሄ ነው ካለ ማክበር ያስፈልጋል። Interestingly the theory Abel has is very practical, period.

    it was a good episode, though 🫡

    I am a big fan of the gugut podcast, but I felt today's episode was very annoying especially with Brook. He seemed to talk from his ego in a way I haven't seen in previous episodes where he was cool and knew how to converse well. The guest made some truly valid points but Brook seemed the only one offended and he didn't allow the guest to talk fully. I'm sorry to say this but I feel I had to in order to reduce Brook's ego for the next episode, so he doesn't offend the guest in any way again. That's not a good look.

    • @mammythug8903
      @mammythug8903 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Actually Brook was the only one who stood up even tho he caved finally. The guest was just soooo Annoying and backward. Am sure he thinks he has " evolved " or has reach some sort of thinking level. But frankly he only showed he's without Essence and ignorant covered with humor. Being modern or evolved doesn't mean to inconsiderate of people's culture and beliefs.

    Where do I start? From the good ones, Most of you guys have valid points to be fair. I like how Abel is literally talking about change only comes with an involvement then have power then finally influence policies! Absolutely right! I’m so tired of AA kids saying the don’t want to do anything with politics but complain abt their life and just hope for change! He is right about most stuff he said, joining parties, have power and all those stuffs I firmly agree! But I believe Abel’s solution for poverty and change is heavily influenced by China(which I personally don’t like) and their growth success, good for him. But some of the things he praised are not right from my perspective, yes they achieved tremendous growth in a short period of time but censoring all the citizen when they oppose how the CCP wants to get things done is actually not acceptable at all, he even said “why would u criticize the gov’t if evt is okay” which tells me he has dictatorship tendencies coz for Eg. I live in the US, I enjoy all my rights including free speech, I wouldn’t trade my financial success for my freedom of speech, anyone who says otherwise, doesn’t know the price of freedom. I know he said ppl in US don’t have rights and money do all the business, which is 100% correct money run the country but if u think only money can make changes here and ppl don’t actually have power, you are thoroughly wrong! We have 400M Guns on the ground for 320M population in this country! If any one in the office has a tendency of tyranny, poor policy and things like that, he/she knows they could be disregarded at any time b/c there is no military for 320M gunned population. So yea, ppl definitely have power! Democracy is what this keeps country going decade after decade coz if u do get to power and don’t utilize it well, u know ppl will take u out anytime of the day. So I advise you to understand how things in this country work before saying ppl have no right. Other thing I didn’t agree with you is about was “yemot fird” are you out of your mind? No one, literally no one has the right to kill a soul God created for a stupid mistake the made in this shitty world! The audacity of you to bemot amnalew is quite interesting. Whatever it is ppl do, you have no right on a product(human being) that you don’t actually create/possess coz ppl are God’s product and only the owner of a product can decide what to do with it, NOT YOU! Just because you are on the other side of the situation and doing well, it doesn’t give u any power over God’s product. Please stop thinking like that! I know u want it b/c of ur ambition for rapid change but no change in any way is more worth than a single soul, you just can’t kill someone b/c they are giving you hard time to bring the FINANCIAL ambition you have! Other is, the part u guys argued about being average and genius, I believe nature play some role but how u were influenced growing up also matters in bringing greatness, I advice you guys to read a book atomic habits(if you don’t already) u will see how to kids grew up only knowing chess is the single thing that matters in life and how those kids evolve to be astonishing chess plays, it will give u the idea how the environment u grew up in affect your whole view towards the world and planning your life which eventually lead to success and greatness. Coz if Tesla was born and raised in Gojam Ethiopia, even tho he may have the innate questioning things in his mind, he would still end up as Shepard, be farmer and die, so there will no be education while growing up or anything they had in the US during that time leza esun more question aynorenwm nbr abt electromagnetic energy mnamn coz literally during that time(even some place now) we Ethiopians didn’t even know the world electromagnetic and how it works…so the environment u are in, really affects your greatness.
    I’m so sorry that I wrote a lot it’s b/c I suck at writing and present my argument well. Good episode! Good guys here I can relate a lot to, since I’m also a technologist. Keep up the good work!

    I really enjoy this podcast was a listener since back when you guys couldn't believe ppl were listening past the 1st hour... I had to pause this episode from spotify to say this episode was really below par and unprofessional. What made you guys great was your curiosity and willingness to listen this argumentative attitude by Biruk destroyed the episode. Hope it doesn't persist. Again great job on the other episodes though

    A good example is Gurage people, they just work no time for politics, they work in every part of Ethiopia ማንም ዉጣልኝ ከክልሌ አይላቸውም ነበር። በቅርብ ክልል ካልሆንን ብለው ራሱ ግርግር የፈጠሩት በቃ እንደ ሀገር አሁን ተንቀሳቅሰዉ መስራት ከባድ ስለሆነባቸው ይመስለኛል። Overall I think I agree with you "We need to change our frequency to Work Work Work".......
