  • Here's a few links for my favorite credit cards. I try to check the links often, but let me know if there is a problem. If they change the offer on the card, I may need to update the link. Full disclosure, I get a few airline miles for referring a new customer. You should get the same public offer at no additional cost. Thank you very much.

    The current Australian dollar is about $0.68 U.S. That makes those prices look a little better.

      I agree, but we're still a little spoiled in the US. Even with the conversion, we pay about 20% to 30% less. Probably our population size eats and drinks 500% more than Australia. Maybe it's a competition thing? We also have Sams Club and a dozen huge grocery stores within a mile. Just a guess, but we have a ton of people. Just in San Diego County, we must have 25 Costcos. And like I said in the video, you wait in a line of 20 to check out.

      Them containers are equal to $10usd. and the chickens $4.46usd. so yeah the things you are calling out are actually cheaper in Australia.

    They are Building a Super Costco near Fresno California which will be the BIGGEST Costco in USA.

    Poway Costco had some storage tubs last week at $12, so about comparable to the ones you saw on sale in Melbourne. Interesting video of my hometown, thank you. They didn’t have Costcos when I was growing up in Melbourne in the 70’s/80’s. WD-40 still has a corporate office not far from my office in Miramar. Gourmia I learned recently is indeed a popular air fryer available at Costco here in San Diego, as well as Target, Amazon etc. Cobra was founded in Melbourne by Tom Crow in 1973, but was acquired ultimately by Puma in 2010 and is based in Carlsbad, in the same geographical neighborhood as Callaway and Taylor. Not that far away, the San Marcos Costco has an indoor food area for some reason, but does require a card. The business Costco location off of Convoy is outdoors, as one may expect, but no membership card required to get a hot dog (still $1.59 with a free refillable drink, no Polish dogs anymore) or pizza etc. Great video, thank you again for sharing!

    There's a Costco near me, but I never went in. So you can't just shop there without buying a membership?

    • @EagerExpat
      @EagerExpat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, but you get two cards per membership. Your partner or buddy can also get a card. In the US anyhow, you can save that member fee pretty fast. When a set of tires is on sale, you might save $100 over the tire shop sale price, etc.. The problem is, so many great deals, you spend $200 every time you go

      Yes, the original location is still on Morena. There's a guy in my condo here in Bangkok that exports coconut water. Costco is his largest client. He used to work for Sol Price and Price Club, back in the day. I wish we had a Costco in Bangkok.
