I appreciate the feedback. I actually really love doing breakdowns, deck techs, and guide videos, but I can understand that they're not for everyone since they often don't involve actual game play. Still nice to mix it up from time to time and see how people are reacting.
amazing, thank you. I would have loved to hear a little bit more about the cutting of muktides in the occulus builds and a yout thoughts about a creature "mix" and the "right" amount of creatures. But very very good thoughts and information anyway!
Great content. Love the sultai idea. Big fan. Didn't mind the tiny fan as much as the sound gate stuttering(that was annoying, more than the fan). Keep it up. I'll watch it all ;)
Oh snap, did I not include it? I love cling actually, really high floor, but the ceiling of being able to draw a few cards at instant speed, shut off delirium, snipe an unearth target, or take out a phlage is really good when boros and dimir are two of the top decks. It's definitely a flex spot, not an auto include, but a flex spot I'm really happy to have in the 75.
Hey mike, i love the content! About the grixis version, i was thinking about this list. In my store has a lot of Froculus, Boros Energy and Goryos. Do u think that is a good version? i would love to see u playing this in list in a run. Greetings from Brazil! Mainboard 4 Abhorrent Oculus 2 Murktide Regent 3 Orcish Bowmasters 4 Psychic Frog 3 Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student 4 Counterspell 4 Fatal Push 3 Force of Negation 1 Shoot the Sheriff 2 Sink into Stupor 2 Spell Snare 1 Surgical Extraction 2 Bloodstained Mire 1 Island 1 Otawara, Soaring City 4 Polluted Delta 4 Scalding Tarn 2 Steam Vents 1 Swamp 1 Thundering Falls 1 Undercity Sewers 2 Watery Grave 4 Faithless Looting 4 Unearth Sideboard 4 Consign to Memory 1 Extirpate 3 Harbinger of the Seas 2 Meltdown 2 Nihil Spellbomb 2 Stern Scolding 1 Toxic Deluge
Thanks so much! Flipping tamiyo can be absolutely lights out against the dimir mirror if you keep oculus off the board. It's really good against esper as well. Less good against boros. I'd probably try to find room for a 3rd spellbomb in the board, likely over the 3rd harbinger.
I have not. Hadn't heard anyone suggest it. I do like thought scour replacing itself though, so it's gonna be a tough sell. But everything is worth trying.
@@thecntrlfreak1347 I understand that but for me the pros about Otherwordly Gaze are: - You can organize the top 3 or mill them as you wich so you minimize the times that you randomly mill something good and draw something bad (ex: milling unearth and draw Oculus, you could just mill Oculus and draw unearth instead) - It's a better top deck late game in the sense that you can surveil 6 (wit the flashback cost). - I know TS replaces itself wich means that you are not down a card but the flashback in OG makes essencialy the same meaning you can cast it twice. - The fact that you can play it from graveyard can have some situationaly synergis with Murktide. - It can also have some synergis with Frog by responding to the draw trigger. That said I'm not 100% convinced since I've only tried it with my friends over 4 matches. I would be curious watching you try it out since you have more experience with the deck.
Be proactive. You can't win being the control deck with either build. Means you do need to mull aggressively for a quick frog + force/consign or a very interactive hand plus a murk/oculus pretty early. Harbinger is great if you fight over talismans and kozilek's command (and utopia sprawls).
It absolutely is a fairly small sample size, just unfortunately one of the only data compiling sources we have. Have to make some inferences and try to ignore points that don't have a "roughly acceptable" set size.
Great content, love this kind of in depth analysis into an Archetype

Esper could run vindicate xD
I appreciate the feedback. Spent a lot of time adjusting audio gates last night, so hopefully that'll be resolved going forward :(
Love this kind of content, appreciate the insight
I appreciate the feedback! I enjoy making this kind of content, so it's always a big plus to hear that people like listening to it.

thoughts on feed the cycle over long goodbye? I feel like feed the cycle is being under repped in this deck.
Have you tried Otherwordly Gaze instead of Thought Scour?

any advice against eldrazi? i find it an horrible matchup.

I've found MTGDecks to be pretty unreliable on matchup matrices, sample size is key.
