Freshly Ground 'Nomvula ' live on eXpresso

From 28 October to 9 December 2011, the country's premier afro-pop outfit, Freshlyground, will be making things happen when they hit the road for an old school nationwide tour. Dubbed The Freshlyground 10 Year Birthday Love No Hate Tour, the 29-date showcase will see the band taking their award-winning afro-pop sound from large cities to small towns, in celebration of their 10 year anniversary and very own "Love No Hate" campaign. They join us live in studio this morning to perform some of their most loved hits from the past 10 years.

Someone did translate it on you tube. Its the story of her mother passing away when she was a child and her father raising the kids alone. Its a very moving song, always makes me tear up. It is a beautiful song. I love this band, I wish they would come back to the states.

I realize this song from long long ago ...it definitely brings back all the childhood memories . The rhythms are so smooth calm and jazzy, and her voice is of an angel. I will most definitely still listen to this song in years to come.
