@@guitarflash2049 I would focus on measuring and comparing my own trades to improve your daily accuracy percentage and daily average gain numbers using a trading journal like Tradervue.
You can also look at your performance by month numbers to see if you're improving.

To me...it's all about psychology, money management (position size, which ties into psychology) and the main thing being a focus on the PROCESS. After 8 years of trading, 2 things got me to daily consistency; 1) choosing a specific style that suits me (for me it's scalping only and nothing else) 2) knowing, but def not paying attention to how much much I make or lose on a trade (focusing on the trade process only - quality of entry and exit and executing accordingly). The PROCESS determines my win/losses...not me (that's how I view it). Basically...your output has to be that of a machine. And your input is your trading system.
This is a great point. I am def learning this as Ive been trading consistently. How did you develop a system to follow for your process?

As far as I can see, this woman has little - if anything - to be humble about. A magnetic personality. Always a highly informative and genuinely legit presentation. My guess is she has a large audience of subscribers who don't even trade stocks but watch her videos anyway. 5 stars.

I have noted when telling friends of my profitable trades, I started loosing on the next trades, it's like I am giving my trading powers away when I speak about it. But when I don't talk about it, it seems to keep me more focused on what I am doing. And not the perceived expectations I need to achieve. Like you said in that regard of pressing the button. Be more focused on the fact that I/you are the one who is pressing the buy and sell button. Make it an informed focused button press. :)

Whatever it is you do...day trading, videography, photography, dance etc...do it for yourself. I learned a while ago that while others expressing interest or giving me praise is great...I don't need it to feel good about myself. I do what pleases me, to the best of MY ability. If I am not learning or improving every time I do what I love, I am stagnant creatively. When I put my head on my pillow at night, I will know if I did my best or not. So when I wake up the next day...I know how hard I need to work to improve my skill.

I've been looking into day trading over the past couple of weeks as it has seemd very interesting to me. I've been trying to find places to learn and better understand how to get started in this space and if its even for me ( I have found it seems as though it is!). Ugh im still learning. Getting there. 3 times this year i have doubled my account and 3 times i lost the gains. Trying to be more smart about it and learn about risk management and how to read charts and your videos are helping somewhat.
Find someone who’s better at trading and ask them to go into a contract where you pay them and they teach you.
What I do is skim off and set aside some of the gains as soon as they're realized - and don't touch them, banking them for the long haul. You'll be surprised how quickly that portion adds up.

I really appreciate your sincerity and honesty plus your humor. You are great teacher I have been watching your videos since yesterday and so far I watched maybe 20 of them all are great work packed with knowledge and experience.
I am not a day trader (I swing trade instead), but you've provided so much good commentary that applies equally to all traders. Particularly seeing screens shots of others "P/L" that show only consistent gains, but never any losses. I totally agree that content like that is not helpful for new traders.

If you have a smaller bank account to tie up with trading or want to pay less in taxes, TradePro is a really great online school. I go to it, and have for the last several months. Its $179 a month, and you only need about $500 bucks to trade with, and $50ish for commissions and software. I go for trading Futures (like the sp500) because it gives you way better leverage and you pay a lot less in taxes.

Appreciate your authenticity on everything 🍜 👍. As a trader, comparing yourself to other traders and how much they’re making is so irrelevant. If you consistently have a good profit/loss ratio and a good accuracy, you will succeed in this business and share size becomes relative.

if ur a beginner. use percent gains not dollar sign. if u can get the same % as the top traders then u are fine. but 2-3 % per day is great for compounding
200 $ a day would be enought for living and build up more savings. 4 figures sounds more than enought

I lost 7k in local stock (Malaysia). That was the highest lost I made in one day so far.... But luckily, I still able to sleep.... And definitely I learnt from that mistakes. On my way recovering back.
