My lifestyle is totally different. I been trading since 1998 and currently have over 25 million in my trading account. I am single and I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and drive a 15 year old car. I never did the whole multiple screen setup. I just trade on a 200 dollar HP Laptop that is almost 10 years old now.

They only trade for minutes whit large positions. İt's all bullshido. 5-10 point and over. Be a invester and sleep well.
Spent 4 years in the marines with a passion for aviation. Missed my boat to spartan college to become a pilot and now markets are my passion. I love learning and growing. Thanks for the help jared. Still not profitable but im getting better and not getting hit so hard in recent months. Ill be a great trader or die trying.

Yea Navy federal gave me a really high limit. I applied and was denied at first so I got a VermontCorpLTD , and I was approved for a capital one. The limit was so small lol but I took it and worked on it. Because if that it helped my credit and I believe that’s what made me finally get approved for navy fed with such a high limit. they're still working on increasing the capital one since it was so low. All in all I’m satisfied.

Honestly speaking jared this video just inspired me and made me look up to you so much more than you know. I already admire you as it is because you are a very respectable person and you honestly saved my trading career no lie. interesting and inspiring, im super happy to hear you say that if youre even your first year of trading that you had a good year, cause im approaching 10 months and im about 6% up...looking at that flat line got me discouraged more than once, but hearing that its okay to be even is just making me hungrier for a green year next year. lets go yall, we got this.
19:50 Yep, I’m over one year in and im breaking even, and I’m so happy with the results because every day that does buy i realize I learn something new that is pushing my gap towards success closer and closer. And yes, being able to spend my time with my family is the very top reason i even got into this.
Currently working in a Restaurant 8 + hours a day 6 days a week, getting very overworked and underpaid so on Sundays that’s the day off, ain’t got no money to go chill somewhere nice because of the tight budget like always. So yes, definitely worth all the hustle to learn trading and live life on my onwn terms

Two years looking for holy grail strategy.. but came to conclusion that mastering market psychology and risk management is the holy grail. Finally trading profitable but with small share size.. it's a life long profession so no hurry.

Since the GFC in 2008 and the insane money printing increased, nothing has made sense. Its for mugs. Anyone who works, pays taxes and saves/invests is mad.
but this is not how he earned that house tho ;) 2 years prior to this video he said day trading makes 5% of his income. i guess he does mostly money in real estate.

Thanks for the video. I have been working hard for almost 2 years now learning how to trade... I have definitely paid my 'trader's tuition' but I finally have a strategy that has given me consistent profitability. Completely agree. My vision is just to be able to enjoy my time. At the moment, by the time my day is finished I am too tired to do anything during the week....and the cars, house is a bonus.

Some people take a couple years to get it some dont..... I hate when people say ohh it's so hard etc its actually not hard at all if your a naturally analytical person and have experience with technical jobs as is the charting etc learning the terminology finding a profitable strategy came very easy to me so I dont understand when people tell newbies its going to be hard its not hard its cut and dry at least thats how I see it. When people keep telling others its hard its hard its so hard but x y z that goes into your subconscious and thats what your going to be thinking its not hard you just have to study and practice anyone can learn this some people make things sound more complicated then it is.
Its really cool seeing all the freedoms your work buys you. Really nice to see you enjoying your family’s company. I have a real bad injury from a car accident and would like to be able to work from home doing this as well!

I thoroughly enjoyed the personal deep dive into what it's like to be a day trader. I myself have been considering day trading for a while but have always decided against it because of the risk. Each time I look at one of your videos I see that preparation is key. Thanks for giving us this insider look into day trading and the life thereafter.
Get trading view and just practice talking setups for a year before you use real money. Find the patterns you like.

You're so correct, I've spent about 6000 hours screen time and finally have found my method. Expect 10,000 hours screen time before you're good at it, but then you're still learning. It is not easy and its hard work.

Awesome congratulations first year I made money woping 83 dollars 💸 but first year I made money still down from when I started 3 years ago been extremely hard emotions wanting to make money an when u have 9 to 5 that just makes it even harder but not gonna give up really inspiring. i love your videos man! however, i could be wrong, but i believe CURRENTLY most of your income comes from from Live Trader courses/chat rooms + real estate + other alternative investments haha obviously i could be wrong but maybe day trading is 15-25% of your income. TH-cam income is probably relatively small compared to your main income streams too.
Alternate title of this video should be "My life as an instructor, investor and day trader".

99% people who play sports never make in the big leagues, lets not play sports. Tons of accidents when you cross the street, don't cross the street or drive again. Most businesses fail, Don't start a business.....This mindset is why most people never make it.
Yes, your first statement is true but that's largely because they believe they hype out there about turning small money into big money in little time. Watch his content. He doesn't teach that crap because it's likely to get you in trouble and lose it all. No question that livetraders and other business ventures contribute to success but that doesnt mean trading isn't an income source for him and many others.

You hit it on the head. It took my 5 years to become profitable. Yes people 5 years. Blew up multiple accounts. Its part of the learning process though. My block ultimately was my psychology, I read Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas and it changed my trading and more importantly my life. No one want to work on themselves, that's why we fail. If you want to be successful in trading turn off your monitor, close your trading accounts. Go get a good therapist, read books on trading psychology, then start trading. I wish I had known that in the beginning. Good look out there fellow traders, stay with it!
