The more I see you do makes me want to do it I wanted a large picture on my wall and got one from eBay but not really what I needed when it came So now definitely getting a big board 1500x700mm and try this now Just got my stuff delivered today and found a free table so doing a large carbon fibre table and another wood river cut one Finger crossed I get it half as good as yours
Yes you can Debbie, this often seems intimidating at first but other than the mixing properly, there are very few mistakes to be made, your imagination is your limit.
You mentioned that he is taping this differently than you would tape a deeper/thicker table. What you you do different for the table? I'm hoping to learn enough to tackle my soft pine kitchen table.
Because this is a thin board, we folded the tape under for extra support. With a thicker edge, more tape will stick on the edge so as long as you double up on the tape, it should hold!
I totally stumbled across this...sooooo cool...love it! Just a couple questions...what kind of wood was used and could you use any kind of wood? What would be the recommended thickness? The primer....do you always use primer and is it always black...even if your project has no black in it? Lastly...what does "dirty pour" refer to??? This is amazing...I want to become a Legarri Pro! Thx so much!
That was awesome I had a friend asked me today if she’s ever heard of doing a countertop and I told her I’d find something this is amazing I’m actually thinking of doing a countertop at the condo at the beach spice it up thank you I will check in your product

Another BEAUTIFUL countertop! Love all your designs....❤️❤️❤️But I ESP love your TURQUOISE / or BLUE color contrast! 💙 It's SO Stunning!!!! Thx for sharing! 👍🥰 ❤️
I love these colors! I have been watching these videos (yours and others) for black styles with some white... but I LOVE this! I've redone my floors with a dark greyish brown fake wood, and am going to paint my cabinets white. My counters are in great shape but they are really blue (bless the 90s)... I think this color combination would look amazing in my kitchen!
The board will split if you are too close to the edge. You could put it closer to the edge but hanging on the wall is dead weight. The heavier the boat, the further from the edge.
You can add are metallics or a very fine glitter to the denatured alcohol at the end, doing this would add that shimmer your looking for over the entire surface in what ever color you choose!
Loved all the videos you guys make, and it made me wanna do it too. But im not sure how much epoxy to buy. Im planning to do both of my countertop in the kitchen which are 5 metres long each. Any tips on how much do i buy to cover 10 meters long and about 50 inches wide counter top? Im so confused. Will much appreciate the help. Thanks
I have a inportant quesation for u , if I can't find the "liquid prime, ( that u ca roll on) is it ok for me to use the spray on primer??? does it work ass well. & how long should I have to "WAIT !! ? for me to continue working on it ? the best "drying time! ???

Nothing stains epoxy, it's not porous when cured. I poured an epoxy floor for my semi truck, mud, salt and snow don't harm it, it literally wipes out with a damp cloth
I bet you'd have to do the tile on a surface first and then apply to the wall. I don't see how you'd do a wall with this type of effect vertically. Good question though! I'd love to do it on a backslash. I'm gonna search their vids
Isopropyl alcohol 91% or higher is used as the dispersing effect in small to medium drops that gives you all the cool cells! Denatured alcohol is sprayed at the end in a fine mist to release any trapped air and pop any bubbles!
I would love to experiment with a copper base coat (instead of black) then add turquoise & sage green. Do you offer these 3 colors in a kit?? I would then try to make a pattern that resembles a 'dancing' (open) peacock tail. Is that possible? Please let me know if & when you carry the aforementioned 3 colors. TY!!!
AMAZING...you're naturally gifted!!!

I do alot of smaller resin pieces. This one you did is beautiful. My resin has no working time compared to yours! Love it!!
Thank you so much!
IS that MDF? Will 4x8 MDF sheet work and what prime or paint are you put on before put epoxy on?
Gj! This is complete art ! Best in the business period 🙌
this is lovely, thank you for impacting knowledge and creativity
Glad it helped you! Thanks for watching!
Might be a stupid question, but what are the orange things your using to rest the sample boards on?

GOOD JOB LANDON...I LOVE IT!!!
Can you put this primer over the top of Formica counter tops?
I'm really impressed about this. You mean I can do this too. Wow look like fun. Great job Landon

Are you painting the sinks or counters
@@ineztankesly2047 not sure yet.

So do you not need to use a Respirator then? I’ve heard different things depending on what type of resin you use.
Where can we find the liquid diamond? Great video, thanks
I've never seen spray paint used with epoxy. Could you use it as a colorant to make opaque solid colors?
Yes you can.
So ..we can mix the apoxy with any spray paint??
What kind of roller do you use? Also can latex paint be used instead of spray paint? Thanks! Love your videos!
Love it. I want to do my countertop. But don't know where to start
Great job Landon
Can I add primer to all the plywood but I’m just putting epoxy on one side ?

In ‘the pouring world’ a dirty pour is when you dump various colours into one cup and then tip that out onto your substrate.
I wanna do this very soon!!

What is the purpose of applying isopropyl alcohol? Is isopropyl alcohol applied before or after passing the torch?
Thanks you
Their products don't have to be torched.
Watch the whole video! He tells you. 🤦🏻♀️
Tracy i would like to no what if your countertop have a round edges how would you place the tape.
the same way, its actually better to have rounded edges because the product will flow over better and its less prone to chipping in time
Nice work guys, it looks amazing.
Thanks so much!
Can you use this product over Formica using this product with this technique?
Are there different techniques for use on different types of material?

What is it that you are adding to the isopropyl thanks?? And is Denatured Alcohol also called Methylated spirits in Australia
What is the name of the primer you use and where can I get it? Can I use the primer that is used for painting? Thanks in advance

Is it supposed to make it less colorful when they put the white paint on top of it
How did you decide to put hanging hooks 5” from top? Is there a formula based on size of board? Thx🤗
The board will split if you are too close to the edge. You could put it closer to the edge but hanging on the wall is dead weight. The heavier the boat, the further from the edge.
How much epoxy resin do you usually use on a countertop? The resin is usually the most expensive element of the project?
Between 1.5 and 3 gallons on 50 sq ft.👌

MDF
Medium density fiberboard

Can we use it on concrete flooring
When putting this on a floor, how does it hold up to heat? We're thinking of putting it down in our living room, and we have a fireplace
My fiance just sent me a similar video (black w/ marble) to re-do the kitchen.
What you are applying first, primer or paint. Technical name please
he said it is a primer
Awesome he did a killer job. 😁😁😁😁😁
Hello I'm wondering what's the diffrence between using wood panel and canvas ?
How does your clear coat epoxy work over burned wood
Does primer color matter if putting dow white epoxy countertop?
yes, use a white primer
Does the primer coat have to be black? Could it be blue?
We’re interested in using this product for a bar top. How does it hold up to stains from red wine?
Nothing stains epoxy, it's not porous when cured. I poured an epoxy floor for my semi truck, mud, salt and snow don't harm it, it literally wipes out with a damp cloth
is this the same process you would use trying to create a bar top using wood?
Yes sir
Is it possible to do epoxy over tiled shower walls? How can I find professionals who can do this work in my area?
I would be curious to know this also. I just bought a house that has fugly tile. The tile is in great shape. This could be the answer.
I bet you'd have to do the tile on a surface first and then apply to the wall. I don't see how you'd do a wall with this type of effect vertically. Good question though! I'd love to do it on a backslash. I'm gonna search their vids
do u not "stir each cup (mix) before u pour out ??
So you sprayed first with isopropyl alcohol and then after denatured alcohol? Can you in one of your videos explain more the whole process of why ect?
Isopropyl alcohol 91% or higher is used as the dispersing effect in small to medium drops that gives you all the cool cells! Denatured alcohol is sprayed at the end in a fine mist to release any trapped air and pop any bubbles!
Beautiful. And great job on keeping that T-Shirt white……..
Gloss much more impressive than the Matt finish , however thanks for the tutorial.
Excellent job 👏👍👌
Thanks 😊

Is this water proof?
That is the most beautiful thing
How many oz per sqft did you put down?
3oz per Sq ft
Can you use this technic on canvas instead of wood?
Anywhere
Yes, my wife does epoxy over her painting she does on canvas
What kind of primer are you using.
How did you do those walls!
Use a backing board
Great job Landon! You're a natural artist kid. I wish you would do my dining table.
Hello can I know what is the first liquid you apply?
For 500 square feet cement floor , how to transform to epoxy, pls about quantity of things and products price
It was so much prettier before you added the matte finish. But to each their own. Nice job guys.
Thank you!
Where did you get wood boards from?
Looks lovely, ready to do my project, a few more supplies and it will be a go.
I'm always having issues with the bottom of my board as epoxy keeps on dripping and by the time it dry up, it leaves that dripping shape.
