I met Cindy and Richard Gere when they were together in the early 90s. They stayed at a high end hotel in Tokyo where I worked. I walked them both to their suite. He was very kind and funny. Cindy was very quiet and reserved. I didn’t think much about it at the time, but looking back they seemed like an odd pair.
