  • From the satsang True Manifesting
Adyashanti, author of Falling into Grace, True Meditation, and The End of Your World, is an American-born spiritual teacher devoted to serving the awakening of all beings. His teachings are an open invitation to stop, inquire, and recognize what is true and liberating at the core of all existence.
Asked to teach in 1996 by his Zen teacher of 14 years, Adyashanti offers teachings that are free of any tradition or ideology. "The Truth I point to is not confined within any religious point of view, belief system, or doctrine, but is open to all and found within all." Based in California, Adyashanti lives with his wife, Mukti, Associate Teacher of Open Gate Sangha. He teaches throughout North America and Europe, offering satsangs, weekend intensives, silent retreats, and a live internet radio broadcast.
    "Adyashanti" means primordial peace.

The million small moments are what let you know whether you are awake or not: my chest softly raising and receding with each breath, the breeze on my skin, the sudden presence of a god-human in the room, the dog's light gate on our walk, the scent of the earth at night, the simple beauty of living.

very comprehensible, down to earth simple teacher
gives you a sense o protectiveness and his advice
apply to real life as a blessing and confirmation of life's ways themselves

I am often discontent with my day. Maybe it is just matter of wanting to control/ having an idea how „my life“ should be like instead of just being completely in what is actually being presented. The fine line for me is to not use that as an excuses for lazy/compulsive/ indulgent behaviour

    • @afriend621

The more you push yourself to be right, get it right, not be lazy, the harder it will be for you. When I read your comment I saw Grace trying to pry your feet off the ground a little in order to squeeze a little cushion of light under there.
You are just fine, really okay, and there is simply not a thing wrong with you. Lean back and open your arms. Keep opening until the tears come. We are all holding hands with you and smiling. Love is here.
p.s. Go have an ice cream . . 3 scoops!!

Yes! You’ve got to be ok with the light being off 💡! That’s a key phrase for me. I’ve always ventured “out there” to find activity to avoid this feeling.

Have you ever gotten to points where "the universe" starts to move you, as Adyashanti describes? Do you just sit and wait until it happens?

    Critical video thank you Adya.
I’ve been moving to different situations for 3 years trying to find the thing out there and am stuck at a friends house now with no motivation or energy or capacity to do anything. It’s like it needs to come from a dimension I have no previous connection with. And, so here I wait 🙏🌟

Don't trust your body, trust your awareness. If it feels compulsive, then that's not it. (i'm just guessing)

@@luistirado6305 Luis, you were just guessing and that's ok but, YES, always trust your body. When you've had too much pizza your body will let you know, trust me on this one. 😊.
