If SloMo, Drum Go Dum, Anything I Do, and Pop/Stars can be extreme songs on their own without any alternates, then these Kpop songs can definitely be so as well
I’d say make easier alternatives for extreme kpop maps that seem truly impossible. SloMo seemed impossible but yet some people were able to learn it eventually.
Honestly, people have been saying this, but a tutorial mode is needed, give those songs the alts they deserve or don't deserve. But for the hard ones, a tutorial in order to follow the steps would do wonders!
I feel like we just need to bring back not expecting every kpop song to have an extreme/easy version, the jd community is already very ungrateful and toxic and I feel like adding as much kpop as they are is just causing more issues because of both people who personally don't enjoy k-pop and k-pop fans who may not get an extreme of their favorite song (cough, ice cream), as well as taking away from other genres and alts that could be added. Maybe lower the count to like 4/5 per game and only give them the official choreo, and if the fans really want more kpop have a season for it (also, weren't stray kids in jd 2021? They had one of the best maps in there lmao)
A whole Just Dance with K Pop exclusives are a must have. It can be like ABBA you can dance, 2023 had too much K Pop and not enough complimentary songs.
Just so you know, you can’t call them “hot takes” if they’re absolutely true. Introducing them in 2022 was OK, 2023 went insane, but 2024 took it way too far. Say My Name was perfect without an easier version. We waited three weeks after the game’s release for nothing
Also, I noticed that as the years have gone on, theres been more kpop and less of classic hits from the early 2000s. its getting ridiculous, especially as a lot of just dance players dont listen to kpop.
