I started taking biotin (the kind that you're supposed to let melt in your mouth -- actually tastes good) and within two to three days, I started noticing that there was NO HAIR in my brush when I tried to clean it out after using it. I was shocked that it started working that quickly. I wasn't using any particular fancy expensive brand -- just regular biotin.

Oh, Nikol you look fantastic. It's amazing what a good haircut and blow-dry plus well applied makeup does to boost oneself. We all need to spend some quality time for ourselves. Whilst we all are living in a crisis time. It does'nt need to cost an arm and a leg, could be a simple bath night where you shut the rest of the world out for a short time. I’m thinning in the same area. I also lost quite a bit of hair after an illness. It finally coming back but not as thick as it was. I use a silk cap now. I think it’s helped a lot. I appreciate you sharing your journey through aging and not just makeup. Thank you ❤
Coincidentally, I started using Nutrafol about 5 months ago because I noticed my hair thinning in the exact same areas as yours. I couldn't be happier with the results. I am also no longer finding globs of hair in the shower drain after I wash it. I also am using their spot treatment. It is well worth the cost. Thanks for all your tips.

Your hair is gorgeous! Your honesty and transparency is so refreshing. I am 57 and have had bang my whole life . The last year I’ve developed a cowlick that causes a separation of my bangs on the right side of my forehead which has been frustrating for me. I’ve been toying with the idea of going with long bangs and sweeping to the left which is what my hair is naturally doing now anyway. Your video has inspired me to just do it! I can always go back.

Hey Gorgeous, yes layers help tremendously. I have used some layers for many years. And yes STRESS does so much to women’s hair and to other parts of our bodies. Those fine hairs at hairline do come back. A little extra Biotin helps too. I ❤️microfiber towels, and silk pillowcases, help some much. Remember, Nikol, you help so many women with your videos and we adore, admire and appreciate you!💖🤩

Love the new bougie 'do! I love that you share things that let me know I'm not alone, there are others experiencing the same things. I have been under a lot of long term stress, over the last 6 years and have noticed that my hair is not the same. I am thinning in the same areas as you discussed. Everyone says, your hair is the same, but I know it is not. I was debating trying the Nutrofol before your video. Not I am for sure. Really enjoy your content!

I'm a retired women's health NP and I can tell you that during these year there are 2 main culprits for thinning at the temples and hair loss for women. One is estrogen loss and two is iron deficiency. Replacing both, especially estrogen through menopause and beyond at an optimal level will slow if not stop the hair loss. It will also decrease all the facial hair which can increase because of low estrogen as well. I have been on it for 30 years. I also use Rogaine at the temples for past 1.5 years and it helped tremendously. Give it about 6 months though to see full help from it.

I have very thick hair I’m 63 and since having covid in December it’s been falling out so much, was thinking of trying Nutraful myself, btw your hair looks gorgeous ❤
That happened to my daughter. She had clumps of hair falling out in the shower. She had blood test and ever thing was ok. The Dr, ask if she had had covid. She had . The Dr. said it was probably from the covid. I never saw that as an after effect . Good luck.

I didn't think your hair could get any better! I've taken Viviscal for years, which has most of the same ingredients except no ashwagandha, bad for my hypothyroid. I wear a boring bob for thin, fine hair but plan to get a bixie for summer, which is a bob with layers. Very similar to my fave style in the Nineties. Change is good!

I'm just using clean products not dying my hair anymore I don't use heat or any styling tools..I only use a Manta brush.. and the biggest thing is I watch you big kiss honey thank you for all you produce and create❤❤

I am blessed in that even going through menopause I haven’t lost any of my hair. I have a lot of hair so it is thinned since I do have so much. Love your, cut! 😊

I’m with you , I’ve had gray very thick hair for years. I know exactly what your saying. I love the softness your hair has now.
I was obsessed with Martha Stewart, too. Recorded her shows on VHS then years later transferred them to DVD, bought her various decorating and gardening books, most of which I still have. I have the first ten years of her magazine and want to sell that collection. Her cookbooks aren't the best, though. Did you read her unauthorized biography Just Desserts? 'Tasty' gossip and insight into why she is a workaholic and disliked by many, though she seems to have mellowed in her old age. She does look amazing though.

Love your hair and feel your pain with some parts of my hair line looking like they’re receding in places like my dad. I’ll be 50 in June and my hair has always been my greatest feature especially after I went to my natural white a year and a half ago. I get the same thing from people, you have so much hair you don’t need to worry but when I look in the shower I know I do. Thank you for sharing with us. I recently went Sassy bob two weeks ago, similar to bougie but with more attitude!!!

I also noticed thinning at the temples. It was my dermatologist who recognized that it was a medical condition called lichen planus pilaris. I now use a laser cap nightly. Plus a Rx shampoo. Supposedly my hair follicles are dying and I’m not supposed to see new hair growth…..but I am. I’m convinced it’s the laser cap. My dermatologist is thrilled and now has other patients using it. So I don’t think we should just accept thinning hair as normal. It could be an actual medical condition. You need a biopsy to confirm. I’m just glad I have such a great dermatologist who has helped me so much.

Love the new doo. 💇🏻♀️❤ I do the same similar thing to create a slight change with my bob. Having a few light layers at the base give my bob the shape it needs to create good movement. I also like a long bang. My massage appointment & hair appointment are both next week…🧖♀️ it’s so needed. ❤❤

I suffered a bout of thyroid disease. All of my hair fell out. I looked like a chemotherapy patient! Once I was diagnosed and properly medicated, the greatest help was not Nutrifol (which I tried) it was an iRestore red light therapy helmet and oral minoxidil. I'm allergic to topical Minoxidil, but have no problem with a low oral dose. So we can be pretty sure that the problem is the carrier, not the medication. My 'script is for 2.5 mg per day and it's only $16 a month. The helmet is expensive, but worth every penny. Best of luck!

Nutrafol: Now THIS 0:09 I can help you with. About 10 years ago I noticed thinning in the two areas you pointed to on yourself. I started with a laser cap. Eventually I added a regrowth serum. My hair dresser told me about Nutrafol. I really did not see much regrowth in month three. But in month seven, WOW I had noticeable baby hairs. Both you and your Mom might see regrowth sooner. What I am saying is not to stop after three months. Your hair dresser will see the regrowth before you. Good luck on your hair journey! ❤❤❤❤❤

First love your haircut! Secondly, I’ve lost a lot of hair in those areas too! In fact I’ve shed (and it still continues) 1/3 of my hair in the last couple of years! I’ve tried almost everything within my budget including all kinds of supplements but nothing has worked except when I travel to LA where it has dryer weather! Yes, the shedding slows down! Right now I’m using rosemary oil and hope to see results 🤞! I’ve seen the commercials forNutrofol but will try it with you and in 3 months let’s check in and talk about results! ❤❤
