    Glad you like the bike - that's exactly what I am riding and loving every minute of it!

    Amazing bike. Just rode one today hoping I am going to swap my bmw gs 850 adventure for it but unfortunetly motorway ride made my decision to stay with GS.. i know its different type of ride etc but ye.. to much wind above 60mph to the point i couldnt take it after 30min.. country lanes and anything up to 60mph gives you so much fun but its just not bike for long trips on motorway. Its city/country lanes beast.. the best bike I ever rode in this type of road. Having bmw with all the tech and comfort I would buy it.. but as second bike. I am 6.3 and felt great on it. I also rode street bob and it was terrible... I would have to do so much customisation to make it mine.. I constantly fight to stay on it as there is no support on the back with stock seat like on amazing fat bob. If u tall rider and cant decide between street bob and fat bob - let me tell u - fat bob kills street bob in every way.

    I’m glad you finally had the opportunity to test ride it. The Fat Bob is by far my favourite bike that Harley makes. From the looks to the stock riding position and “performance” it fits like a glove. That being said, for what it is and what you get. I can’t justify the high price tag for so minimal tech and features.

      I’m glad I got to test it out. It’s a really fantastic option, more nimble than I thought it would be

      I agree and I just picked up a gray haze '23 and sunk way too much into it. I did not have the cruiser segment covered in my stable. Some people hate Tech, I love it and seek out the ESA models.
      There is more to the story, but in '22, I added a '22 gen3 busa and last week, I added two more anti-HDs to the stable...

      I love mine, but if I had seen the Breakout 117 at the time.. I might just have went that route.

    I love the dragbars and dash, too. I like the headlight a lot. In fact, it's easily the best-looking Harley, for me. Chrome on motorbikes is like gold on women. The Harley I'd like.

      It’s a looker for sure

    idk if this makes sense or changes between the other bikes.. but I steer my Fat Bob with my hips. It is way more accepting of moving around if I shift my weight there than the handles or trying to move the front tire. Just shifting at the hips makes it feel so much more alive! I think the tires change alot of how you have to move this bike.

    Nice review for a frustrating demo ride.
    I'm 6'3" and even with the Mustache Engine Guard with added pegs, I still use the passenger pegs, whenever I hit the highway. I knew I was buying a bar-hopper and it's not my only bike.

    Nice video man, just a question. You had the chance to test ride the fat bob and the Indian scout bobber, wich one you think is better?

      @IronBornRider  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Jonathan, I was actually just thinking about this. If price wasn’t a factor I’d pick the fatbob. The suspension to me felt better and made for a more comfortable ride, and the aftermarket support for Harley is unmatched, you can make the fatbob into whatever you wanted. It’s great for around town riding and could be set up for mini touring.

      We own both, oddly enough. They’re both great bikes for different reasons. Fat bob gets more performance but the scout isn’t a slouch either. I personally find the scout more comfortable and like the sound better, but I daily the fat bob.

    I thought the Softails felt heavy and kind of too heavy turning corners. Do you feel that on yours? I did not try the Low Rider S.

    • @IronBornRider
      @IronBornRider  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Some softails are better than others. Fatbob, streetbob and low rider s are some of the better handling softails imo

      @@IronBornRider Yeah for me the first Softail I rode was a Street Bob and my comments apply to it. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Not anywhere near nimble enough and light feeling enough for me and I weigh 205. It felt dangerous.

    I am a 6 feet 3' guy . Will this bike suit me being 6'3'?

      I think there might be more comfortable options, the fatbob fit me really well and im 5’8. You might feel a little restricted

      I generally find they're no more dangerous than 'Dopey Guys on Bikes'
