  • So I decided to go on another road trip in my 1979 Camaro Z28 which I call the Cursemaro due to it's likelihood of breaking down minutes from the house... because Roadkill! Join us on the journey in this Classic Chevy to Blaum Bros. Distilling Co in Galena, IL. This is a tribute video to what this channel could have been, this was my first idea for the channel. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Dude , you have some incredible skills . But.... when I watch your videos I am somewhat reminded of Wiley coyote and the roadrunner . Case in point.. the interior view of the Cursamaro and a perfect view of the vice grips for a window crank. Your video's are great, especially the road trips. Keep up the good work .

Meep, Meep! Lmao. Thanks for the kind words and I am all over the place at times but there is usually a method to my madness. I keep eating through window cranks, because my window regulator tab (or whatever the name of that piece is) is stripped out, hence the vice grips.

87? Wow, I had a 78 in college and if I used anything less than 93, I could watch the gas needle move.

Yup, this is a stock bottom end junk motor out of a Caprice I threw in when my 400 blew up. Not concerned about longevity, just wanted to be able to keep driving it until the 400 was built. I'm getting 15.5 mpg on 87.

@@BustedClassicGarage That's not bad mpg. I think I could only get that with the 93 octane. Then I got a V6 95 (with a 5-speed) in 1997 and I thought I was driving an economy car. Got 25 hwy with it and 87 octane.

Cool road trip Bart. Seeing the Cursemaro out on the road, really gives me motivation to get mine done, so I can drive it. You will have to bring it to VA.

That's how I feel about the truck, I just want to drive it and the reality of that is sooo far away. For sure maybe before this years Power Tour I could cruise by. We will see what happens.

Awesome Digging the vise grip window crank.
Dude , seeing the Monte Carlo got me all giddy. Love that car man. Did a road trip to Detroit in a ‘70 454 4 speed Monte about 35 yrs ago. Can’t wait to see you work on that thing.

Yeah same here, hopefully on day I'll start back up on it! That's exactly what I was going to do with mine, 454 and a Muncie!

So was it a success? Did the Camaro get you home?!

Yes, it did. No issues besides the oil leak. I had a great outro but didn't turn on the mic for it... Talk about a fail!
