    To avoid my endless drama in launching my many wings I built myself a PVC tube/bungee launcher. Fun little project, sets up quickly and now I can just have fun and not worry about getting bitten by a prop or botched throw, ending in crumpled or torn foam. The launcher works so well that I even installed launch hooks on some of my other planes.

    Thanks Andrew, just bought one. What a great little throw on the back seat job. I had a 2826 2300kv spare, and it turned into an unlimited vertical beast on 4S (3300mAh) when pushed by an 8x5 folder. Love it on 110% throws.

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that would be OK. The only hassle with a bigger prop is you might have more torque roll on launch.

  • @roadstar499

    i would call that a prop jet more than a wing ...its very much lot a radjet,funjet or zeta blaze.... i have flown these for years...they are a ton of fun and can do crazy moves ...the more power the more crazy...easy to fly as long as you can see them...unfortunately eye sight is my weak link and have lost a few and crashed many times...most of the time i repair them multiple times before i retire them...

  • @AdrianoCasemiro
    @AdrianoCasemiro 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What do I know? I just struggle to fly my own models anyway. Still it won't stop me from showing my thoughts about this beautiful model: it could be more stable with a few cm2 of wing area; it looks fast and twitchy, not for newbies. This nose is too long for comfort, it will not survive many hard landings.
    I'll end this with a question. After reviewing a lot of these forward swept wings designs, which one is the best for someone who is not an ace pilot (asking for a friend)?
    Love your content, you are the go to source on my foamie buying decisions.
