    YO! I really enjoyed this edit. I like the scene change on beat. Good music. Great camera angles. You put just as much detail in your edit as you did the build. The dramatic moment got me! I thought you two were really fighting. You really know how to push your own buttons. Awesome! thanks!

    Very timely for me to find this video. I just finished building my shop and have been considering incorporating my router table into my table saw. You convinced me with this setup. Thanks for sharing

    Great job and a very nice looking router table. I have a very similar setup in my stand alone table and found that I got better dust collection by putting a series of 1 inch holes along the bottom of the door. Really helped the airflow.

    Paul you did an amazing job on this build. I can’t even remember how many cool parts to this video there are!! One thing to me that stuck out of course was the router bit holders/drawers and then even the opacity (if this is the right word) of the door that has a glow of an amber bulb on the inside. Wonderful job Paul and who cares if it’s overkill....it’s what you wanted and that’s what you got! Thanks for sharing too!!

    Clearly this build was a labor of love, even if you are a millennia! Do U have enough router bits?, LOL! This old " hippy " appreciates the old school application in most of this build. I didn't see a single pointer hole on this or perhaps U did use some & I simply can't remember... Beautiful build here & thanks for sharing it...

    I think the best part of the video for me was the use of your branding iron. I have one of my logo and never thought of making anything else with it other than branding my work. I could make drawer pulls, keychains or even brand pieces of 1/8" plywood to sell or trade in place of stickers. Awesome build as always.

    thank you for sharing .............one note if i may add........enclosed routers can over heat....you may wish to add fresh air to your router intake .....either by holes in your door or a purpose made sleeve over your router to the out side not only allowing fresh air but stopping the air intake to the router clogging up with dust....i do realize you have your dust extraction on it but even so it can get clogged and over heat the router........ok this the first time seeing your y/t vid see you also made some cool stuff going to check them out now ........thanks again

    I gotta say you used 2 word that are in my non-like column: Ultimate and Rockler. But I gave ur vid a shot anyway and am glad I did. (Meaning Thumbs up to you!) Ultimate because I find anything with that superlative is, well, NOT and Rockler because they on the very bottom of the cheap list if u get my drift. Good quality stuff most of the time though.
    You turned me on to how to make bit drawers - half way thru with 1/2" then finish with 1/4 and add bottom -SMART! Oh and the t-track idea was up there too.

      Thanks!! Those things are pulling double duty. Might add labels to them too just to give them another task haha.

  • @pgfollett
    @pgfollett 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great adaptation of the basic Norm Abrams table design! You might consider drilling a couple of air inlet holes near the bottom of the plastic door to help evacuate chips from inside the cabinet.

    • @JackmanWorks
      @JackmanWorks  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm definitely going to play around with it to optimize the suction, but it does a pretty amazing job already. Don't want to drill holes in the door, but I might drill some in the back panel if it seems like it needs it. That box is sealed up pretty tight afterall

    • @pgfollett
      @pgfollett 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I added 3 holes about 1" dia near the bottom of the door of mine. The resulting airflow tends to "sweep" the floor of the compartment and doesn't affect the extraction capabilities. BTW I'm hooked to a 1 1/2HP DC
