@@rpmcmurphy2348 Thanks Mac, Welcome brother! I guess there was some structural damage from Nicole they discovered. Got this off the Deerfield website: The International Fishing Pier suffered damage from Tropical Storm Nicole on November 9, 2022. A thorough structural assessment revealed additional damage, prompting the City to close a section known as the "T". We are now ready to commence the necessary repairs and renovations. On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the City Commission voted to close the pier for renovations for the duration of the construction. The closure will begin upon receipt of all jurisdictional agency permits. Stay tuned for the closure details.

At the moment you have over 4000 condos on sale in Cape Coral that arent selling. I feel sorry for anyone that owns property there now. Insurance is going to be unaffordable if you will even be able to get it in a couple of years.

wow almost a thousand views already!glad you got some sunshine hope it lasts a whilewe've had a similar thing going on here you might have heard of May gray and June Gloom yes almost 8 weeks without any Sunshine till about 2:00 p.m. and then about 4:30 the clouds roll back in🥺😕very depressing I hate hate hate hate it but just today I woke up 6:38 to Sunshine‼️🌞☀️fingers crossed for good weather for Florida and Cali!

Lots of rain here in West Boca. But thankfully we don’t flood over here near the Everglades. Maybe because the communities out here are newer and when they started constructing them in the 80-90s they took more consideration of drainage / flooding. I was down in Hollywood and Hollandale beach a few days ago. Really bad flooding. Hope all is well Terry.

I live on the beach in cocoa Beach and people that visit me always get so worried when I leave my flip flops buy the beach access walkway lol! I am happy to see someone else that gets it.
You're probably good up there in Coca Mary, but someone else is now wearing a pair I once left in Boca. I still risk it though lol

some of the people are friendly and nice and then the others oh well. ..They look through you like you dont exist. some are very rude.and entitled Florida has both extremes. Same with the weather , I hate the Hurricanes ........the best weather does not last long enough...South East Florida is the least friendly area in the State . .. I was living in Minneapolis prior to Florida an extremely cold climate with short summer, . Florida not as friendly as Mpls. , I think the west coast of Florida is friendlier then SE Florida .. very few say hello ...or acknowledge you ...Friendly, describes people who are kind, caring, and make you feel comfortable. ..SE Florida not so much . Florida could use more people like Barefoot, California is the only State with great weather...

Just checked the weather app 6-16 and it is 82 with a 74 degree dew point at 3:20 am in Miami!! Anything over 80 is too hot during the day. At night over 80 is totally unacceptable.
