You get extra DECT range with a beard I can confirm! I knew something new was going to come out right after I bought a $513 Poly Savi 7240 office 🤦♂️… come on??? Yealink and Jabra are killing it… I’m gonna try and sell my 7240 to one of my co-workers 😂
😂 Maybe the beard does help! Yealink and Jabra are currently providing great headset options to support how people work today. Yealink still has some work to do on universal compatibility but they are working very hard to get there. Appreciate you watching and sharing your feedback!
which noise cancelling mic would you recommend is the best. Is this better than a EPOS Impact 1000? Also, when can we expect a review on the new orosound evo.
To date, I haven't tested another headset that provides better mic performance than the EPOS Impact 1000. We are not partnered with Orosound yet. Our buddies at Headset Advisor are Orosound partners. I can ask Orosound, if they are willing to send me an unit for eval. As the largest headset specialty vendor in the US, our customer base has not requested Orosound. Because the majority of our customers are large enterprise, they tend to request UC and Microsoft Teams certified devices only with most requesting Teams certified devices. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/devices/usb-devices
Great question, Dieter! Here's what I experienced. I started a Zoom meeting using the WH64 as my audio source. I then had my wife call my mobile phone that was also paired to the Yealink WH64. When my mobile phone rings, I have the option to answer directly from the phone. Once I answer mobile call manually, I have the option to switch audio via my phone to WH64. If I switch audio, my Zoom meeting continues, however, because I am now using my WH64 for audio source for my mobile phone call, I lose audio in Zoom meeting. Once I end mobile call, audio automatically switched back to the WH64 for the Zoom meeting. I hope this helps.
The Yealink WH64 includes a base station that connects to a computer via USB cable and deck phone via compatible cable depending on phone brand and model. The headset pairs to base station via DECT. You can then pair to a mobile device via Bluetooth directly from the headset.

What will happen when you have a call via PC and your smartphone is ringing? How does it switch? Press a button? Via Software?
