Pilot Iroshizuku Ajisai Hydrangea is a Blue fountain pen ink.
Here on the channel there is a new ink review posted daily. I get inks test them and share the results with you, so you know before you buy. We will show writing sample and discuss the writing experience on Clairfontain, Tomoe River, Rhodia and few few others after that. A Jinhao 159, x450, x750 and a pen of the day are used to get a range of experience with the ink. Two different chromatography's are discussed as well as there is a resistance test done. The inks viscosity and dry time are compared to over 1000 other inks. A complement ink is suggested. General thoughts on the ink are given. There is also a nib, pen recommendation for this ink.

DO NOT contact anyone on telegram (or any other social media) claiming to be me. I am not running giveaways and I will not ask you for money. They are scammers and spammers, and they want to steal your money and personal information.

I really liked the additional paper samples provided.

I just happen to think that papers are greatly overlooked on the review channels, so I try to include a bunch of different ones that aren't impossible to get. The pen is just one part of the experience.
      So, thank you very much!

@@AnInkGuy I couldn't agree more! It's so clearly evident that an Ink performs differently depending upon the type of paper. In this case I can see the difference of ink shading between a Rhodia paper and Leuchttrum 1917. The ink has more shading in the latter.

Just how many inks do you have in storage?!
Got to thank you for your dedication to testing every ink under the sun.
Makes buying an ink easy for those of us who cannot get ink samples easily.
    One question:
Which ink from Diamine or Noodler is closest to Ku-Jaku?

    • @AnInkGuy
      @AnInkGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

I have a lot less inks than most would think. Once a review is done there ir rarely any ink left so only have some bottles and the samples I will be reviewing that year.
As for similar to Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku:
Noodler's Ottoman Azure - but need to be watered down
Noodler's Dostoyeosky - shades less though
not seeing a Diamine close from what I have to compare to.

Hi Ink Guy, your videos have been super helpful to me (like finding Wikipedia for ink) and your pronunciation is usually en pointe as you have taught me how to say a couple like Tomoe River or Leuchtturm. But in this case I’m pretty sure it’s hi-drain-ja like the flower.
Thanks for doing all of these reviews in such a scientific way. I also think your opinion matters a lot and it would be cool if you spent a bit more time from your own perspective, but that is just a gentle suggestion. You’ve got this stuff down.

I feel confident in my pronunciation of most thing being accidentally correct, on the occasion I am correct. BUT here! you are correct, I don't know how I missed it, this is a flower. duh! lol.
Thank you very much for pointing it out.
As far as my perspective... this is an older video and my current videos begin with my opinion and I do give a little more on it in them.

I like most of the iroshizuku inks but this one isn't my favourite.

They do have many better than this one.

I think this one is a swing and a miss. There are a ton more vibrant interesting blues out there and a bunch more blues for a professional environment that are more cost effective.

Not EVERY Iroshizuku is a winner... obviously. lol
