Bit late to the party but thankyou for this video. Was here recently and its a pretty part of the world. Its great to see a little travelled part of victoria's railway history. And maybe imagine that one day it might run again. Although the gauge problem makes that unlikely.
thanks for adding where all the (now barely recognizable) junctions are. I explored some of the abandoned Casterton line a few years ago and there are fully grown trees in between the tracks...
Good Morning Putty Cat, I took the bandage off this morning and now I am wearing the glove, its healing good, Enjoy the day both of you, Putty Cat and 667
Did the full trip yesterday must be frustrating for a driver not being able to open the throttle due to the state of the track, hopefully the Portland line can be ungraded to ensure its future
Very nice hopefully there will be anther tour again one day so you can get the rest of the line to Maroona with abit of luck at 80kph not 40 can only hope

A service down that part of the state would be great. 👍😀
Well done mate. Sweet vid means I can ditch all my saves! Easily my favourite vid of yours
Thank you. Took a bit of work. Very happy you enjoyed it 👍😀

It's a little tedious, that's for sure. I hear talk of a possible upgrade. Let's keep our fingers crossed 👍😀
Thank You! That's the shot(if you know what I mean 😉) My Friend!!👍👍❤️🙂

I'll be keeping an eye out for another trip 👍😀
Omg it's so long
It is 👍😀
Track does not look very well used.🏳🌈
Or maintained! It would be faster to use a wheelbarrow than a train out there! 🤣
It's not the busiest of tracks 👍😀
Is the track so bad that train can only do this speed. Pathetic.
The track has been in need of work. Good news... the federal government has just announced a grant to upgrade the track. 👍😀😀
