I watch your video making puff puff for the first time, it turned out good. We enjoyed it. Thanks so much! Just want to let you all know that Jesus loves you, and he's ready to help you in every situation.❤🙏🏽
Oh my God, you have made my day. thank you so much for all your support, I'm not taking it lightly, I really appreciate every words that came from you. I receive it may God crown you with favor.
i usually do the jamaican fried dumplings which is the same ingredients but with less water so its more hard not runny dough however i love the way you do these and im definitely going to do the consistency like how you do it more runny it looks delicious......sometimes i add sugar to the dough to make them sweet
This looks delicious. I gave up on trying to make these. I never get it right. They burn outside and are not well done inside. I never know when to put them in the oil/when the temperature is right or when to take them out.
This was quick and very easy and very tasty, thank you, I would like to know if I can leave the sugar out or has that got something to do with the rising (puf) I prefer savoury
Thank you so much, I really didn’t understand when you says leave sugar out. I believe that you don’t want to add sugar. I just suggest that you reduce the sugar bcz puff puff always contain sugar. Thank you 🙏🏾
Thank you for sharing your recipe. I have never tried making magwinya (puff puff) this way. I have always used yeast. I am definitely going to try your method. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your recipe YOU can make this with some flavor I make this with banana all the same flour sugar just add banana you will enjoy Thanks again Canada 🇨🇦 ❤❤
i have tried ur recipe sis...its crunchy on the outside and soft and dense on the inside. nevertheless, its still yummy. very fast to put together unlike the original puff puff version. i dont mind making it for my own pleasure. thanks sis!
Oooo, I’m so happy to hear that my sister, thank you so much. Yes that how it supposed to be, crunchy on outside and soft on inside. Very well. In case if you don’t have self rising flour, you can make ur own at home. It’s a recipe there, very easy.
Hello dear, after you mix the dough, you can fry is not waiting time bcz we are using self rising, the name self rising said it all. If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. Stay bless.
Yes you can use whole meal flour, but you have to add yeast on it. Self rising flour is complete, the only thing you have to do is add sugar and water. Simple.
Good idea, I never try it with saltfish. I eat mine with natural organic peanut butter or roasted peanut. Try it, you may like it. If I may ask, are you a Congolese? Bcz Congolese people love salt fish.
I don’t know about honey in puff puff, I never use it and I’m not sure. Honey and sugar are really not the same. My suggestion is if you don’t like a lot of sugar, maybe you can use 1/2 of it. Thank you so much been part of this family, I’m grateful.
Thank you.add water gradually until you get the right consistency, if for some reason the dough is too watery, add some flour. If is too thick, add some water, remember to use only warm water. Thanks for all your support 🙏🏾
Hello my dear, when make this, heat the oil, you can test the oil with stick. If the stick start bubbling that is ready to fry. When you see it turn golden, turn to the other side for them to cook perfectly. If you still have questions, do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for watching. Very grateful to have you.
Ok, I explained here that I’m using self rising flour that contains sodium and baking powder. When you use self rising flour, all you need is water and sugar, you can also use some flavor like, vanilla extract, cinnamon or nutmeg. If you have more questions, I’m here for you.😀😀😀
Let me explain: my title said I’m using self rising flour, I don’t know which country are you, but where I live, we have self rising flour. The self rising flour contains: sodium and baking powder so it’s no need to add yeast. All you have to add is water and sugar, you can use some flavor like cinnamon or vanilla extract. You use yeast only if you are using all purpose flour. Thanks for watching, feel free to ask any questions.
@@jeaninescuisine11 I didn’t say there’s no self raising flour. I said self raising flour is used for sweet buns while plain flour is for puff puff. The yeast gives the puff puff it’s sponginess which is different from the texture of sweet buns.
If you are using self rising, please don’t add any salt because the self rising already have salt. If you do add salt, your puff puff will be too salty. Thanks for watching, check another video self rising with banana.
While this recipe is good, the result is not chewy like puff-puff. It is more like buns. Had to check other recipes to find you'll need to add yogurt or beer to self- rising flour and sugar to achieve the puff puff effect
Easy to make. Thank you.
Enjoy it just like I did.
Very easy recipe am.gonna try this tonight
Enjoy 😉

it just warm, not hot,

How long should the dough rest before I fry the puff puff?

Yummy, you can also add egg and milk
Thanks dear, I suggest to use eggs and milk if you are using all purpose flour. The self rising flour is just really the way that it is.
Thanks for sharing, can one add egg and banana or milk
One time I tried to add egg, but it did not do good. The flour is just ready as it is. You can add banana.
Ok,Thanks for your reply ❤️

can i use wholemeal flour instead of self rising flour??
