- Now that a lot of you will be starting your journey in NIFT with the course in Masters of fashion management, it takes me back to my first semester. I was clueless and trying to figure out the best for myself and my career. In the whole journey I learned a lot and I thought probably it would have been easier to navigate if someone would have told me these things before coming into NIFT to do MFM course. But, juniors! 2. Don't get intimated by people who belong to fashion industry
3. When you get into college try to connect with people who belong to your profession and has the energy you want to have
4. Work with different people
5.Do not skip yourself from any kind of work
6.Get to know your faculty
7.do not forget to have fun :)
8.explore yourself to more cultures
9. do not stop yourself to think out of the box

Follow the night deadlines to enter the hostel, don't do illegal things. rest of the rules are quite chill, so should not be a problem.
I am really confused as to what preference to make after Bangalore and Mumbai ? Like how is Chennai and gandhinagar ? Do you knw anything abt these campus ? And which one would be a better choice? Like in terms of faculty and learning? According to your after the top 3 campus which one to opt first??
I have heard chennai faculty is good. I know people from Gandhinagar who are doing well in their careers. People usually go for chennai after bangalore and Mumbai.

hi im a fellow design student who wrote nift this year...firstly congrats...its such a wonderful rank...i would suggest 1)delhi(low chances depending on ur course but keep it at first) 2)banglore 3)mumbai 4)hyderabad 5)gandhinagar 6)chennai 7)kolkata 8)raebaraeli 9)kannur ....im sure you will get in these top campuses ..all the best

Hi Raju. Thanks for reaching out. I feel owning a business teaches you more than any school. However, if you feel you want to experience college and you see subjects or concepts which are completely alien to you, you of course can.

Hey! It depends on your bachelors degree College. If it was a graduation degree and your college is recognised by the Indian govt. you are eligible to apply!

No both are the different types of course if you think or want to do something beyond the out of box in design definitely you need to go with your favourite ones

Honestly no clue since I have not a design student but, You've got to ask yourself do YOU need coaching. It's not a must do, it's a if you need, you get.
Heyy personally speaking YES YOU CAN!! but do make sure you have books to prepare for the exam. I wrote nift exam and I've got into it without being enrolled in a coaching class :))
It's definitely possible! I'm a nift student now, my orientation is tomorrow and all I did was study starting from 15 days before the exam. I gave my exam when I was kinda sick but I'm in Nift Gandhinagar now! I'm sooo stoked to be there
