loved the b8.5 supercharger but the interior & exterior styling on the new b9 S4’s are absolutely gorgeous. Also cool to know that a b9 has insane tuning potential and I was looking to get a b9 s5 sportback over the s4 but they’re the same thing. anyways I made the decision ima get a b9 s4 2018-2019 if I get a good deal on them it’s hard to find good prices over in ILLINOIS. I’m limited to a lot of b8.5 and the b9’s are a little too much in price well over $40K
I was nervous picking up a 2021 s4 with the gas mileage but I was pleasantly surprised to get on average 500kms a tank. That’s with Manitoba Winters which is as bad as you can get south of the territories! Stage 1 as well
You can actually change the ambient lighting you might know already but it’s super cool with like 30 different color options but red and blue are the best imo!
@@KevG It's good, but there are some stupid caveats, like the piano black panel around the transmission selector. Had to cover in PPF, otherwise, it is a scratch magnet.
Yes all personal preference but, I love the 2018 front end better than the 2019(Or 2020+ for that matter). I have actually never seen an S4 without B & O. Our B9 S4, although gets "Okay" MPGs due to winter blend crappy 91 gas? Gets way better gas mileage, than our 2020 STI lol
Definitely surprised me when I saw it didn’t have B&O. And yeah I like the 2018 front end but heard some 2018’s had lifter issues and didn’t want any risk at all. Great car overall!
Is the b+0 sounds system that big of a difference ? Im looking at an s4 but doesnt have the b+0 sound system and its really bugging me that it doesnt have it.

Been watching a lot of S4 audi vids lately and im kinda leaning towards tryna to get one. I'm not too familiar with their reliability but when looking for a used one how many miles should i be aiming for. I currently drive a 2009 Nissan 370z with over 120k miles.
Personally I’m looking for 2018+ under 70k for reliability. Gonna be best bang for your buck for the B9’s if you want to keep the car long term. 2013-17 is also reliable around same mileage
Interior is great on both. Few upgrades worth it on the B9 like interior. You get the car play, bigger screen, better lighting, massage seats, updated look, and a few other things. The supercharger is fun, both the B8.5 and B9 have wild potential for power gain. You can make 500hp on the supercharged platform
~12k in parts (doesn’t include any labor for installation) but yes essentially. Search a few videos of their stage 3+ cars on the TTE810 turbo. Absolutely wild acceleration and 1/4 mile times
Owned one for 3 years, its alright, I became really bored of it after like 7 months though, even with a tune/mods, it's just kinda bleh, plus the seats kill your back after like an hour, whats even crazier is, I owned a W204 C63 and my B9 S4 had worse gas milage then the C63, which was pretty bizarre honestly, I had the C63 for around 8 years and spent around $15k on gas total, Spent over $20k on gas in 3 years on my S4 and I barely even drove it (Had 45,000KM when i sold it)
@@NolanHolder-br9kf yeah unfortunately I live in Canada and we get drilled on gas prices plus they put addictives in the gas that give the cars horrible gas milage even though they claim it doesn't
Depends what mods you want to do. The S5 with a downpipe, intercooler, intake and tune is about 476hp and it rips. RS5 will be pretty much same performance stock

I want a B8.5 S5 because of the supercharged, but I wouldn't mind the b9 s5. Which so you think is better,
