your video is very detail oriented. Thanks for the hard work... anyway, could you also share how you get around the city, or is there any means of public or budget transport there?
Thanks and glad that you find it useful. We rented a car from Bangkok and drove there. If you don’t drive, you can move around using private hire or ride-sharing app like Grab. Some people mentioned about renting scooters to move around, you can try that.
Hi Xiaodong, thanks for watching. I would recommend a trip at the end of the year, where it is cooler (but note that it is also the high season) and you should spend perhaps 3 days there.
Hi! Did you do a self drive trip? Is the bat cave & camping site inside Khao Yai National Park itself? We are planning a trip to Khao Yai, is it safe to drive from BKK to Khao Yai? We did self drive in Japan & Australia but not in Thailand, would like to get your advice. Appreciate if you could share your experience and tips Thank you!
Hi! Yes, we did a self drive. We rented a car from Bangkok Airport and proceeded to Khao Yai. In fact, we did a stop at Ayutthaya to do some sightseeing there as well. The drive is a very comfortable one. By renting a car from the airport, you can bypass the notorious Bangkok traffic.
Hey, we rented a car at the Bangkok airport, no particular brand. We had wanted to rent in Bangkok itself but it was all fully rented out. So one thing to note is to book your car way in advance, either through Trip.com or some other apps. The journey from Bangkok to Khao Yai is an easy and straightforward route. If you are collecting the car from the airport, you can bypass the infamous Bangkok jam.
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video. We rented a car from Bangkok. It’s a nice and easy ride there. It is also very convenient and easy to drive around in Khao Yai. The rental per day is reasonable, less than SGD 100 per day depending on the make of car and whether it is weekend or weekday.

What month do you went here?
This was in December, where the weather is very pleasant, nice and cool. 🆒

The bat cave is outside the park so you can avoid paying the park fees. The glamping site is also outside the park.

Is june month preferable to visit khao yai ?
Hmm… June is hot and rainy, not the most ideal.
Is grab available there? Or how can we commute without renting a car?
I read that there’s no grab nor taxi in Khao Yai, just public buses. So perhaps renting a car and driver will be a good option.
Uncle your video power
Thanks, nephew! Hope you enjoy it! 😁
oh soooo informative!, I wanna go the farm, but I can pin on it on the google map ;;
Thanks! Did u mean Primo Piazza? 200/2 หมู่ที่ 10 Mu Si, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima 30130, Thailand
Glamping in the city next to hotels??? Come on!!!
That’s why it’s glamping and not camping 😄
