  • Safari in Thailand? You can do that in Khao Yai National Park, the oldest and most famous nature park in all of Thailand. It is a few hours drive from Bangkok, but you can also get there by train. From Ayutthaya we make an adventurous trip by train to the jungle. We sleep among the wild animals and make special treks, where we get very close to the wild animals. We see elephants, deer, bats, gibbons, macaques, reptiles, snakes, spiders, hornbills and much more!
    We are visiting Thailand on a one year world tour and we may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and Brazil. Thailand is already our fifteenth destination. Follow us on this world trip, first in Thailand and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross to Oceania and Africa! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything, with a new episode every week. Also take a look at instagram @woutoftheworld or www.woutoftheworld.nl

    I live in Thailand and today is the first time I have seen your channel. I am very impressed, you speak clearly, show the best views, animals, food etc and most important the beautiful side of the country. This proves the country IS suitable as a family holiday as so many only hear/see bars, sand and XXX. I will forward this video around, thanks for the great information

      Hi Sylvia! Ah those are such nice compliments. A lot of the credits you give, are definitely things we find important. We have been to Thailand over ten times and it’s one of my favorite countries in the world. We made seven episodes this time, when we showed my mom around to some places we love and also some new places. Where do you live? And do you have any hidden gems we might enjoy for later this trip? We have been to all the well known places in all those travels, so maybe we can find new places for videos as well 😁 nice to meet you and cheers from our family!

    your video is so nice. My frd and I went to Khao Yai National Park in 2017, we also had a two-day trip there, incl. watching bats flying out of the cave in the evening. It is really an awesome place to touch the nature and see the animals! Your video makes me remember the great days I shared with my frd years ago. Thank you.

    Your channel is one of the best adventure travel channels anywhere! You so warrant at least 300,000 subscribers. 🏅 And as promotion experts say sometimes the Name or title is the Game. So perhaps you could do a parallel TH-cam channel that would get more algorithms suggestions and in the 5 seconds people take to decide on media if they're going to watch something - they would know exactly what your channel offers. A parallel channel with a title something like Enchanted Adventures or such that reflects the magic and discovery that your channel so wonderfully offers! I'm just suggesting this because we love your channel but one time I lost it.. and couldn't remember the name. I know so many more people would love your channel too. All the best from California

      Thanks for the really nice review of my channel 😁👍🏻 i’m so glad to hear that you think my videos should do better. I think it takes some time, but they reach more and more travelers every month. We used to make only Dutch spoken versions and only started to addEnglish the last year or so. Thanks for the tips, I’ll definitely look into that as well. Bless you and cheers from the family 😁👍🏻

      @@WoutoftheWorld thank you for your reply. I love the idea of you doing a parallel channel called Enchanted Adventures or such.. so people would know quickly what your channel is about. I don't think algorithms or most people understand what Wout is.
      "Wout is from Middle Dutch waut, wout (“authority, power”) of unknown origin"
      I'm so glad you're doing them in English because more people know English than any other language in the world about 1.8 billion people. For the majority of them, English is their second language. Wishing you all the best!

    Just seeing this video as me and my wife are looking at heading to Khao Yai. Our friends also warned us of the leeches, so I was curious if the gaiters you had were ones you brought or were provided by the tour. Thanks and looking forward to catching up on your other videos.

    • @WoutoftheWorld
      @WoutoftheWorld  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mark, yes they provide them. We have traveled to several places in Thailand where they warned about leeches, but my mom was the only person on all tours that had one. It was right after she took the socks off 😅 they should be harmless however. We have 7 videos on Thailand online actually. Now in Africa, with many more videos to come. Thanks for the comment. Cheers and happy travels!

      Hi Trapping Along! Thanks for the support and comment. How would I do this, you mean in the description? The reason we don’t always mention the tour guides or hotel names is because we don’t want to turn it into a promotional video. I understand what you mean though, because it’s helpful. In Khao Yai all hotels are mainly on one road that leads to the National Park. The hotel name is Plearn Hotel and the tour guide is Green Leaf Tour. You can book tour companies through the hotel and I remember my previous visit was through a different company but exactly the same. There are many operators. Hope this helps! Cheers 😁🤙🏻

    Hi Wout, your videos are really helpful for me to plan a trip for me and my daughter. Can I ask you if your 2 day trip departed from Plearn resort for both trips or was the second accommodation in the National park and part of a 2 day trip?
    Did you book the resort for 2 nights or just one night and then joined green leaves tour for 2 days?
    Did they pick you guys up from the resort?
    How far ahead do you need to book the train tickers and tours?

    • @WoutoftheWorld
      @WoutoftheWorld  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi M Goldie! Thanks for the compliment. We hope you’ll enjoy beautiful Khao Yai. Yes, we departed from Plearn both times. It’s on a very central location. We stayed there for 4 nights and just booked the tours on two of those days. We spend some time resting and enjoying the pool as well. We booked the tour upon arrival at Plearn. They picked us up and it was very well organized. Also the train tickets, we just bought them on the station. I have visited Thailand over ten times now and never used internet for anything. It’s possible, but I think also more expensive. Cheers from the family 😃👌🏻
