On Sunday, January 13, 2013 the seventh generation Corvette was revealed to the world - bearing the Stingray name. This is the live, online video cast of the event.

In 2013, I imagined I'd be able to finally afford to buy a new C8 in my career. The C8 came around and guess what? I wanted this C7. Now, that's what I have. Best true vette ever.

Definitely was controversial when it was first introduced, but I got over it. The car's great. It's just funny seeing in hindsight how people back then used to trash it.

A C8 at $60k is relatively cheap enough that I'm keeping my C7 manual transmission for 3 pedal engagement
fun when I get a C8. Unlike other cars that I've owned in that I normally tradein to lower the cost of
the new car.

Cylinder deactivation (AFM) was and is a debacle. I have it in my 2016 A8 C7 and I fricking hate it. Just bad.
