There was this couple who were our friends for some time. They were zealous in their beliefs on different controversial topics, including atheism (not to say that atheism has to do with such things). They were definitely a type that would like to swim against the stream (not in terms of being open minded and questioning the stupid stereotypical social norms, but in terms of questioning every moral value with hostility). For example, I once said that I felt bad for the homeless who were freezing in the cold, and the guy got mad and said it’s their own fault. Anyways, I once heard the wife bring up the fact that some people engage in wife swapping. That was a red flag for me. Because knowing their attitudes, I could see them and people who would be able to engage in such things. Plus, I had the feeling that the guy paid inappropriate attention to me, like putting my jacket on my shoulder when I was cold. We cut ties with them. To this day, I don’t know if they are the swapping type, but I’m glad that tries are cut.
@markmike7933 they all agreed. You're right, but one of them obviously crossed the line. None of that crap for me, thanks. In fact, I'm a widowed crazy old cat lady and would have it no other way! Done with dating and relationships!

If you're going to swap wives, why swap wives with one that looks exactly like yours? It's like having a silver Honda Accord and going on vacation and renting a silver Honda Accord.
Yeah, that never works out well. His wife is rather pitiful. Her husband fell for his wife swapping partner, murdered her, and the wife STILL protected him!
Who was investigating the crime, Barney Fife? If the cops couldn’t break this in about two minutes they were total clowns. And the husband never suspected the guy who was screwing his wife may be involved???
Both couples kept their secret lives so well hidden that not even the neighbors suspected anything, much less the detectives. It wasn't until Daniel couldn't keep his own secret that the neighbors started suspecting something was off and tipped off the detectives.
If another couple suggested this ? I would end the friendship immediately. I heard of this with a couple I used to work with. It didn’t end well. They ended up divorced.
But her husband should be there to help if the issue is out of her hand…which it clearly was. Plus, I’m sure it’s the husbands that came up with the idea. So…they should be more responsible for dealing with the issues that arise.

He had a keeper in Linda. The open relationships were bound to end in a breakdown of both relationships, it's tragic that it ended in murder rather then just divorces.
Really. I can't imagine covering up a murder, much less a murder my husband committed because he wanted to leave me for another woman.

NO...someone who is casual about it would bring it up...the husband whose wie died brought it up.
