Ask pilots about the CS100/A220-100's incredible shortfield takeoff performance. If you want a rocket ride into the sky steeper than a 757, the CSeries can pull it off. Excellent video!
Nothing out performs the 757. It can takeoff from Den and go non stop to Maui fully loaded or go from Lihue to Denver nonstop. Lihue runway length is 6500. C can even come close
@@thebeast8410 Two very different aircraft, and purpose(Apples and Oranges). Yes I have always been impressed by the B757, but now it is losing out to the A321 family(A321neo,A321lr, and now the A321xlr) which Boeing has no response. But since you brought it up. I would not like to see a B757 land, takeoff at London City Airport(LCY).
We shouldn’t forget the sound pickup during the flight, in the cameras there is and automatic sound level pickup; if the sound is to loud, it will bring down; if the sound level is to low, it will rais the sound on the recording. (I’m a field sound man for video)
How did Delta "revolutionize" the domestic skies? Every time I fly them they lose my luggage and switch aircraft before the flight (and thus I lose the seat I originally chose at booking).
ZuluFoxtrot1 i hear it too in Seattle. I do appreciate the quirky noise, but it only happens during throttle adjustments which is sad. Once stabilized, it's quiet. That's not exciting. It's just strange.
I would love for the opportunity one day to spend a couple hours in one of those Class D simulators for the A220/CSeries. Since I don't know how much choice airline pilots get on what type they're trained on and then yknow the whole thing of being gone for several days possibly isn't a huge appeal.
@@LeppAviation > my point is that n310ea mentions the advancement of Boeing vs Airbus. He obviously is not an aircraft person, you should have let him know that the A220 was designed and built by Bombardier not Airbus.
Wow look at that cockpit. Very elegant and modern!

Fantastic tour and video on-board the Delta Airlines Airbus A220 from Detroit to Dallas mate
Shoutout to WMU Broncos! I spent some time in the SR-20s at the college, I was in aerospace engineering though.
Aye that's awesome! I start my transition course in the fall. Go Broncos!

Exquisite ride! really like how Delta revolutionized the domestic skies there in the US. Perfect footage

I was waiting for the engine spool up on the takeoff roll and it never happened. Haha
Ridiculously quiet! Can't wait to fly on one.
It's impressive! Sounds like you're at idle the entire flight. What a plane!
@@LeppAviation Totally! Haha
Only sound you hear is when the reverse doors open. Cheers 👍
You must not be an aviation enthusiast if engine noise bothers you.
From the outside the engines sound like a whale. I’ve been on the opposite side of DFW and heard the noise.

Glad to know that Delta has no 737max8 planes in its fleet.
Brian K they do I work there
@@kennedyjohn6595 show link to fleet list please
@@kennedyjohn6595 maybe on order but they have none on their fleet
@@kennedyjohn6595 Delta has 737-700s,737-800s and 737-900s, no MAX aircraft.
Yup
Very nice video. Great use of reflection framing.

Wish AA had these. Is it 2 seats on one side and 3 on the other? Thanks. 👍🏻
I’m on a DTW- DFW flight rn😂😂
i was too when i watched this😭😭😭
I have a sky marks 1:100 delta cs100 model
hope this aircraft will use by Indonesian airline. awesome
Doesn't look bad the Bombarbus 220
Wonderful!
No wonder Jetblue chose A220 over E195. Embraer needs to upgrade its outdated avionics.
Saludos desde México ✈🛩✈🛩
excellent video , like
I did a trip report on this same exact flight!
This is not a genuine Aibus, this is a Bombardier project runned out of money and rescued by Airbus
Luis Miranda Well obviously lol. Delta still has the CS100 titles on the floor just inside the main cabin door
1:53 thanks for the face reveal
The panels are huge as fuck
Testing testing
Wtf it’s like a priv jet
Poor pax all cramped up
Sweet aircraft. Airbus smoked Boeing
I wonder why Boeing planes can't be as advanced as Airbus.
n310ea They absolutely are just as advanced as Airbus.
This aircraft was NOT designed or built by Airbus.
@@LeppAviation > You should know this aircraft was NOT designed or built by Airbus.
Mark I know this aircraft isn’t built by Airbus. It was a general statement of aircraft advancement.

Hate how this plane sounds so much.
