    Thanks for the tutorial. I did not know that it is possible to customize the stomp mode. I had already resigned myself to it. Do you share your presets via the Neural Cloud? They sound fantastic.

      Hi, thanks for your watching. Yes, i have a couple of presets on the cloud, my username is TeeJay2000

      @@tianjay These presets don't appear on the QC cloud???

    • @tianjay
      @tianjay  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Clive007 From memory, these presets were based off the TeeJay Main preset which is on the cloud.. from there it is just a matter of setting up the hybrid switches that you want and changing the stomp assignments

    Nice!! Just found this page. I love that 8 dotted delay...do a vid on how to achieve that ! :)

    • @tianjay
      @tianjay  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s pretty simple, all the delays are capable of syncing to tap tempo, just set the delay time parameter to a dotted 8th, make your wet mix about 50% so that your delay repeat is about the same level as the original, and turn the repeats down so you only hear one or two at most. Make sure you have a switch assigned to Tap Tempo so you can set your repeat tempo.

    Is there a way to have say 5 Scenes and 3 Stomps - rather than always being a 4 x 4 split?

    • @tianjay
      @tianjay  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, i don’t believe so. The switching is not very flexible unlike some other modellers like Fractal where you can freely configure the switches.

  • @hypelightsband
    @hypelightsband 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Am missing something? Why combining scenes + stomp? That’s basically why scenes are built for..? Let’s say I want scene A + chorus, why don’t just create a specific scene for that instead of setting up a hybrid mode?

    • @thetonezonewithbillytrone8362
      @thetonezonewithbillytrone8362 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's definitely one way to do it. But maybe you're coming from an analog pedal board and you have some effects you just like to turn on and off on the fly. Thinking one effect at a time like a drive pedal, if two or more switches are necessary I agree a scene makes way more sense. Another way I use it is to bridge scenes. I have four main scenes (Clean, crunch, rhythm and lead) but I also have four stomps I can turn on whenever I feel. Mostly I'll use a drive or boost for a gain stage between my crunch and rhythm scenes or to push the rhythm sound into high gain for the one or two hard rock song of the night.

      @@thetonezonewithbillytrone8362 Yeah I feel you, but that’s a bit of tap dancing in my opinion ^^ thanks for your comment and sharing your thought tho! :)

      @@hypelightsband I mean it's only ever one button but no problem lol

    • @tianjay
      @tianjay  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Because you may want the flexibility of toggling a single Stomp on or off within any of your scenes.. For example, a Chorus that you can have on or off within any of your 4 scenes, otherwise you’d need to create a scene with Chorus On and Off for all the variations which isn’t as economical.

    For me the big trouble there is if you use stomp/scene mode in 1 preset and want to use stomp mode in other preset, it will be impossible using the switches shorcut...dangerous in a live situation. The failure is that they forgot to create 4 different modes: stomp, scenes, preset and scenes/stomp. Then you could change all these using the footswitch shorcut (helix works like that). It is a failure programming, i hope they fix it.
