- We're traveling north up Florida's coast. This week we stay at Faver Dykes State Park due to its close proximity to a number of things to do. Castillo de San Marcos and Fort Matanzas taught us about the European grab for land. We paddled and spent the day on the beach at Anastasia State Park. Washington Oaks Garden State Park was another spot. The grounds are spectacular. And then we walked the trails at River to Sea Preserve. Whew! We're not done yet! Let's don't forget about walking St. Augustine, Paddling the Pellicer River and biking at Faver Dykes State Park. Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, I shared with you our experience with ticks in Florida. It's not pretty.

I really enjoyed this week's vlog! It was a great combination of history and scenic beauty, as well as an excellent use of both video and still photography. Well done! I had never heard of Washington Oaks Garden State Park, but think I need to put it on my list of places to see the next time I visit Florida. It was truly beautiful and I can't resist those magnificent Live Oaks! Thank you for sharing your journey!
I'm so glad you're still watching and enjoyed the video. Your comments are much appreciated. Washington Oaks Garden State Park was a nice surprise. I'm with you on the Live Oaks, SOOO beautiful!
We were having a stressful day and needed something calming to watch. Steve said put Switching Gears on. So we did. But I got 6 calls and had to restart each time so I turned my ringer off 😂
Thank you for what you are doing. We love it.
