Traveling St. Mary's Georgia Area/Crooked River State Park/Fort Clinch State Park

We thought we were done with Florida, but we were wrong. Crossing the border into Georgia we settled into Crooked River State Park. St. Marys is a quaint town which we thoroughly enjoyed. When our original plans fell through, we returned to Florida to visit Fort Clinch State Park and toured the historic Civil War era fort. In addition to enjoying the beauty of Crooked River State Park, we learned a little about submarines by visiting the museum in St. Marys. This seemed appropriate since the Kings Bay Submarine Naval Base is there. We also walked around the McIntosh Sugarworks Tabby Ruins. Wow, beautiful.
