  • Yoga Nidra is neither sleeping nor concentration. This is the state between falling asleep and being awake, when the practitioner is aware of the process of falling asleep and does not allow it to happen.
    Therefore, during yoga nidra it is so important not to sleep and maintain a state of awareness. This promotes deep relaxation.
    Yoga Nidra helps to overcome an anxiety. Vegetative symptoms of anxiety such as headache, dizziness, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, increased sweating, and abdominal pain can be also reduced with the practice.
    Just follow the voice and try not to sleep.
