Renault Twizy is a special and rare car. I have test driven it and its awesome. This electric car makes so much fun. Crazy acceleration. Mountain drive uphill and downhill.

I saw a Twizy in my city (Sao Paulo, Brazil).
The sound like a Airbus at...50 km/h.
But is a good idea for big cities.
Seems faster than it is. Switzerland looks very pleasant. Wouldn't mind living there. No Twizy's in Australia sadly....

It's a excellent car, but they should simple upgrade it. The doors without windows is really confusing. Why would 2 doors really needed if 1 door with windows could be so much better. Many people are also with their privacy stuffs and also when they are doing shopping, they can't carry with them along. And about the heating for the cold and even for cooling they could attach some solar system on the roof.
It's just like any car/vehicle buying decision. If it's not fit for YOUR purpose you should simply buy something else that does suit your individual wants and needs. It is what it is.

Yes, and we have installed a "extra Boost kit" -> Faster Acceleration and higher max speed

twizyx still a scam. Why pay 400€ for something you get free if you know someone in the Twizy community?
twizyy is a newly labled OVMS which uses a open source software developed by members of the German Twizy-Forum.de.
Shameless to charge so much money for a SMS or Command via GPRS when someone else had done the work to develop the software.!!!

@@jolladevices Since 2016 the firmware on the Sevcon Controllers is locked.
But the ovms guys reverse engineered the protocoll how the battery and the sevcon will talk to the twizy UCH.
But the did so to enable a 3rd party battery.
But you can now also replace the twizy firmware with a default one and emulate mostly everything, the custom firmware did with a extra OBD2 box.
This breaks most of the security features and your twizy will be in trouble when you try to give it to your dealer to service it.
With a rental battery you then have to answer a few questions.
Kenneth does sell such a box.
He even partnerd with the twizyx guys (thats how much he loves ovms ;-) ) and sells it with a modified sevcon.
But the knowledge is open source, so what the heck.
But you should know what you get yourselve into. Kenneth and twizyx won't tell you. They want to sell you something :-)
I know a guy selling a very low mileage Twizy he lives near by a neighbour told me he is in the Guinness book of records for hospital admissions 82 in one year with concussions in fact he just lives a stones throw from me.
I'll swear by it he doesn't get to use it much dizzy twizy.

No! twizyx is just a scam. They "lend" you their freshly Labled OVMS (which only cost about 100€ and is open source dexters-web.de/links ) and charge up too 400€ for a SMS or Switch command over GPRS.
I think he uses the ELIA box which has ABE in Germany and Swiss.

Is this car suspension comfort?
People say it's not really. People also say it's because of the overly built anti-roll bar. One guy cut off some parts of the bar to make it more flexible: He claims it improved so much. The problem is the car exam for participating in traffic (TÜV or MOT -whatever you call it) because he modified his factory suspension which is a safety critical hardware.

there is noises cuz hes very fucking close to the wheels and the ground
@@Runner-xv4lb its a common problem with Twizy's that the gearbox makes much noise. It needs gearbox oil change
