Been using a Mach 3 for 10 years now and I’m tired of spending money on new blades every month!!! I love my blades but now it’s time to get an electric, thank you for this video!!! I’m asking for this for Christmas!!!!
I think you’ll love it
I have the Remington version of this shaver and I LOVE it. It gets the job done in no time and almost as close as a blade.
The problem seems for these types is finding replacement heads and blades
I’ve been thinking about trying an electric head razor for a while. Been shaving my head with a blade for years and I do enjoy the close, smooth shave. But I might try this for a change. Also been using the Brio Beardscape for years and love it. Didn’t know Brio had one for women. My wife might like that as a Christmas gift.
Thanks for the video/review!
Give it a try, let me know what you think.
I have one. It is nice in shower with conditioner, .. but likely have to do it every 2-3 days 4 max. Good video.
Thanks! Yeah, this is the shaver I use most of the time now. I haven’t tried it in the shower yet
I commented on your shaved head with beard look on your "return of the big beard" video and had not watched this one yet. Definitely something I'm going to try. Great content for guys with similar interests, thanks
I’m really glad you enjoyed it!
Great review! I normally use a HeadBlade which work great for me but been thinking of an electric shaver for through the week! Will definitely pick one of these up 👍🍺
I think you’ll be pleased. It’s good to have options
I saw this right after my head shave this AM, haha. I got the Brio right when they came available and love it. Your insights are spot on, its a great shaver in regards to electrics. Power & battery life are excellent, and its easy to clean. My other head shaver has the independant foil heads & while that does conform to your head a little better than the Brio its also a pain to clean. The Brio is so easy to clean thats probly my fav aspect. 👍🏻
I think you’re right about the cleaning. I’ve noticed it too that the independent heads are a little trickier.
I really appreciate your input here!
Thanks for the review! This is the best foil head shaver I have used so far. It can also be used on your face and neck too. It is better to use with water or some light shave oil, liquid, and not too thick shaving creams, etc. It cuts pretty close with water and better than a dry shave for sure. Almost as close as a razor surprisingly with water, etc. I was impressed on the smoothness, less irritation too. Great product.
I do love it! I haven’t tried it wet yet but I guess I should. Thanks for the insight!
yeah I tried both but using water or some kind of thin liquid constantly in the area you shave it gets pretty close almost razor like and with far less irritation. Enjoy your Raze!@@GregBoswell428
Howdy again, Greg...This Brio seems to be a shaver that I may just pull the trigger on because of your recommendation. But one thing: At AMAZON many of the commenters had sour things to say about it and tated it very low, but you dig it. Odd, isn't it? I don't question your take on it, so please don't misunderstand, and I realize that liking or disliking anything is subjective but why do you think there's so much negativity with the device? BTW: What is the warranty period for this Brio? Anyway, peace, brother! 🙏🏹♐
Excellent Video, Greg!!! I really do need to invest in some Brio Clippers and possibly this head shaver. Thank you for all your videos. Have a great weekend 🤓👍❤️
Thanks, Chris! I think you’ll like them
I like this. I use the cartridge razor but I could use Brio daily. And, on some days use a cartridge after w/yes Beard butter. I love using beard butter for shaving. I need to shave my head every other day. Great job Greg. Looking forward to your beard butter head shave 🪒
Hopefully soon. 😁
Just ordered mine! Love brio products.
Good choice!
I have hair on my head atm. Won't hurt though to prepare for the future 😂👌
Very true 😁
That looks a brilliant bit of kit better than first one I bought Kensen is not going well mate I know you recommended it . But this looks a piece of genius machine 🤔.
What happened to the Kensen? I’d be interested in knowing.
The good thing about Brio is it’s here in the states and they’re easy to get ahold of and work with. Very durable products!
Hi Greg on The Kenswn it's the tiny little inserts on the blades it may not effect use not tried it since . Regards David I'm in UK by the way mate
Can you buy the Brio head shaver in the UK?
Purchased today and used your code - thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
any good?
I have the bald buddy from cut buddy its pretty good shave wise just annoying as hell to clean. I had the remington RX5 one which worked fine until it didnt. Might try this
One last question: What do you think of the latest head shavers which have a magnetic blade wheel that seems to be a trend now? Any thoughts on that? 🙏🏹♐
Here for the beard
What’s the best way to avoid razor burn/bumps with these types of head shavers?
That looks like a very useful product, and I would definitely consider using it for head shaving down the road. If you don't mind me asking, how do you feel it does around the tops of your sideburns? Would using the Brio trimmer help maintain a clear boundary, or would you recommend using a traditional razor to trim there?
If you want to make a definite line, I would use a razor
Good video 👍🏽
Thanks!
I may give this a try. I have been using Headblade razors for like almost 20 years. I usually get a very smooth shave with them but I can cut myself once or twice a year, I could probably do it without a mirror even. I have used a Panasonic Wet/Dry foil electric in the past and I found it got nearly as smooth as a blade but it did take me quite a bit longer, close to 8 minutes or more. Was gonna try the FreeBird but this one seems to be better quality?
This is mostly what I’ve been using lately
Great Review. How does this product compare to the Skull Shaver with regards to closeness and complete easiness?
I’ve never tried it but I heard it’s comparable
@@GregBoswell428 OK, I ask because I own a Skull Shaver and not pleased with the results, so looking for options when I don't want to Head Shave.
@@ajmartinez1906 like I said, it’s only what I’ve heard so I can’t vouch for it. I’ve been using it most of the time lately. No complaints here 😁
I have tried using electric razors on my face but they always tare my face up causing razor burn and makes it sore even I try shaving every day. It would be really good if I could get it to work but so far it hasn’t.
When I was younger I had the same experience. I really couldn’t tell you what the results would be if you used this on the face.
How does this compare to the Freebird?
Greg, if you don't mind.. on a different subject what is your favorite after shave for bald head? Thanks.

I love this stuff!
@@GregBoswell428 Thank you my friend
@@GregBoswell428 Greg thanks for your help on that but I Have to return it because the pump spray did not work.
I was actually looking for a bald head after shave for sensitive skin. Do you have any recommendations? I'm gonna be going online to see what I can find but I respect your opinion. Thanks.
@@GregBoswell428
After some research I've found an aftershave for my head, hopefully it works good it's called 'Head Blade Clear Head' after shave. Not sure if you ever tried it. Either way have a blessed Sunday my friend.

I’ve been stressing about my reseeding hairline for about five years now. Just realized the other day, I’ve started to develop a bald spot right on top of my head too.. I’m twenty-five… yeah.. really sucks to have a quarter-life crisis!
I was scared of shaving my head, but thanks to watching a couple of your videos I’m more comfortable with the idea. I fact, although I’m going to talk with my doctor about potential supplements and treatments. I’m actually fifty-fifty on going bald anyway! (Quite a surprise to me, since I used to think my self-esteem would have to be dead for me go that route.) Thank you for bringing comfort to someone with as little life experience as me!
I liked and subscribed.
Shaving your head will probably boost your confidence. People will see you and treat you differently. In a good way.
First off, I have so appreciated your channel Greg, really love your tutorials and wisdom.
I recognize you provide affiliate links so you get a kickback when we purchase these shavers.
My question is this: which is a “better” (closer / smoother) shave. The bald buddy you tried a couple years ago, or this Brio Raze shaver?
If others have experience with both of these I’d appreciate any feedback.
Right now I’m using the Panasonic Arc 5 on my head.
Thanks so much!
They’re pretty comparable
Greg, I use hair clippers on my head and face with a 0000 blade currently. My struggle has been in the past was trying to shave with electric razors. The electric razors cut and chew up my face but I never tried using it on my head. Any advise I have a head full of hair but keep it basically bald / stubble. Really worried about chew up my scalp like I did my face in the past. Thanks
I know what you mean but this posed no problems on head whatsoever in the way that you described
Awesome Thank You
@@GregBoswell428 Can you suggest any lotion or pre-shave that might make the razor glide smoother over the head possibly? Thank you!!
Hey Geg, i must ask you, brio compared to bald buddy?
I believe I know the answer.
How much better is the uniformity & feel of the shave compared to bald buddy.
Your beard tutorials have helped me think in more 3 dimension resulting in a killer beard from any angle.
Thanks in advance.
That’s great to hear!
I’d have to say that both shavers are comparable with minor differences in design
@@GregBoswell428thanks, I'll keep with bald buddy until it just quits like the first one I had. Then I'll buy a brio.
Is this better than the cut buddy??
They cut pretty much the same
How does this compare to the bald buddy?
It’s a comparable shave. I use the Brio mostly. I broke my Bald Buddy
How would you say this compares to the kensen head shaver that you reviewed?
They shave pretty much the same with the differences being the number of heads (7 vs. 5) and the way the heads detach and replace. Brio’s customer service is probably going to be better. They’re in the states and they are very responsive whenever someone needs something.
@@GregBoswell428 gotcha! Do you notice a difference in performance between the 5 and 7 headed shavers? Like are the 7 heads more tricky to get into certain areas due to them having a bulkier surface area? Sorry, there’s just not a lot of info out there on the differences between 3-7 headed shavers.
@@seedymcfly5013 well, I think the Kensen is perhaps a little quicker because of it. It’s a great shaver. I also like it’s curved head
