Great review sir!! I thought from most of the reviews that this little shaver would give me a close shave. NOPE!!! Wet or dry if you like the feel of sandpaper when you are done, then this is the electric razor for you. Returned mine day one!! However, I own an Andis and a Panasonic ES LV9Q, and they both get me BBS like a DE or SE, wet or dry. Andis is dry only, but Panasonic is wet or dry. If you want to spend some money get the Panasonic. Change the outer blade once a year, and inner blade every two years. The cleaning stand takes care of cleaning, lubing and drying. Amazingly close…..to the skin. Absolutely love it! No I am not a paid advertiser. Just want you guys to get a great shave like I get! God bless.
Damn. Thats a 500 machine. No wonder it does such a good job the freebird of 40 bucks

Thanks for the feedback, what kind of aftershave products do you use? I just started shaving my head, I wash it with regular shampoo and the skin flakes off (
Hi @shockboomer! -- you're better off moisturizing your head with a non-oily moisturizer like cetaphil daily advance or CeraVe's Daily Moisturizer (do this in the morning and immediately after showering)
That's what's actually going to reduce those flakes.
And preferably, you'll want to switch to a moisturizing body wash like Dove Deep Moisture for washing your head, shampoo may be causing some of that dryness.
Lastly, instead of an after shave, you can use a wash-off cleanser after shaving if you'd like -- they're incredible.
CeraVe makes an amazing salicylic acid (SA) cleanser that beautifully removes dirt, oil, and other acne/irritation-inducing factors.
I've used the remington for almost two years.. Never been cut once

@@youravantgarde I've bought several types. The g/f bought me an expensive one. So far, NONE have lasted more than a few months of only using them once in a while.

Avoid the Freebird at all costs. My Norelco Oneblade cuts closer and faster than that pos
Have not tried the OneBlade for head shaving personally!
Will have to purchase and put that to the test 🙂. Perhaps a "one-blade style" razor for head shaving comparison coming up, we'll see ☺️
