Thank you for providing the interesting and informative videos throughout the project lifecycle. You handled the challenges like a professional and the end results speak for themselves. What a cool machine. Best wishes for the next project
Hello from Italy, I have the same CBX, pretty rare bike and love it, but not sure about my oil measurement rod, i think is not original, too short. Could you kindly send me a pic of yours? Thank you
Good job! After all that expense and time you seem to have struck gold god only knows why Honda didn’t get that alternator chain tensioner correct from the onset defies belief! Very poor from a company like them aside from that though they seem to be. a fairly well built engine R the lifters supposed to pump up and provide zero lash in use? I am a little concerned as to why that big end shell was discoloured like that!! Hopefully it won’t repeat!! How many miles has the bike got on it ?
The lifters are supposed to be pumped up hard and must have less than 2mm of squish. The con rod bearing was slightly worn, copper just showing. No issue with the spec on the crank pin and no surface issues. So IDK why that happened. I cleaned all the oil passages so we will see. 44,000 Km on the bike
@@true-moto-resto thank you for replying. I’m from Florida, USA. If you change your mind about selling the CBX750 I have a good home for her 🏍️ I was 14 years old in 1984. This bike is from my generation 💪 brings me a lot of wonderful memories. Thank you 🙏
I'd say that is a WIN, congratulations on the rebuild, and now on to the next one, 😎👍.
Thanks 👍
