Hi Emma, I clicked on the thumbnail and your music intro started playing and my granddaughter dropped what she had in her hands and just started dancing to the intro! It was the most adorable little dance and it really made me smile and I had to tell you! Great to see you.
Gorgeous trousers, dear Emma. I love the way that fabric moves. It's just so nice to spend 'time' with you, as if you're an old friend that shares the same enjoyment of making beautiful clothes.
Definitely sew a toile up, it just helps with fit and sometimes the tricky construction of flys and welts as you have something to practice on. Just take each step one by one and you’ll get there. The instructions on the Thea’s are very simple and easy to follow too!
What are your plans for winter sewing ? Do you mainly make jumpers and trousers ? Have you finished sorting your sewing room now ?what is your next project to sew take care of
Hi Emma loved your blog especially showing your pattern tracing, I noticed you could see through the paper ,the one I’ve bought I can’t see through which makes it difficult , could you say where you bought it from please. Thank you.
The fit looks really good. I think, like on a couple of the other girls, you might need to lengthen the points of the front and back crotch curve by just a wee bit or maybe scoop it out, but otherwise the fit is great. It was good to see that same issue on more than one of you, because I will definitely pay attention to that part of the pattern if I make it up. They are definitely cute trousers on all of you.
Thank you so much for the advice. I was thinking the same. Just need to get a bit of time with the right head on and I’ll figure it out! This was partly the idea of trying it out on our different body shapes to give lots of folk an opportunity to see it. 🥰💜

Aww thank you Margaret, the paper is an architecture paper. I’ve had it for many years but I think I bought it from eBay.
