I really want one of those Liberty pincushions. I keep telling myself that I should just make one myself, but their ones look so cute. The bag pattern looks nice, but with that fabric I would be tempted to make a nice blouse. I think the colour would really suit you.

Hi Em, I think a blouse would be very festive. Tana lawn would be a bit fragile for a bag. I live in Aus so not ordering from UK. We have great options in Australia. Glad you are on the mend. ❤

Hi, Emma! That fabric is gorgeous and would make a lovely blouse! As a quilter, i dont like bags made from quilting cotton because they lack durability; I think the Liberty fabric would be even less durable, and that a blouse would be so much nicer! Just my thoughts!

Oh Emma what a lovely vlog to wake up and find 🥰 the first family holiday I can remember was to a wee cottage in Pitlochry. My brother and I still talk about it now nearly 60 years on. I’ve been back since too with my own family. My mother was a Scot (a Lindsay) and she needed to show us her roots ❤

Awww, I absolutely LOVE Pitlochry Emma! We visit several times a year but haven’t stayed over for a couple of years. Did you visit Hetties Tea Room? It’s PHENOMENAL! And the staff are so friendly 😄 You’ve got me looking for a wee break now 🤣

Oh Emma, you sure know how to tug at my heart strings. In 1968 (I was 21 years old) My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Pitlochry just before leaving for Australia. Jim passed away in August and I am bringing him home to Scotland, not to Pitlochry, to Rothesay, to be with his family. I hope this is ok to post here. Thanks for the memories 🥰

Emma, Amelia Earhart and I have the same hometown! She's waaaay older than me, though. She was born in 1897. She was an aviation pioneer. She was the first woman to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. She disappeared over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 during an attempt to become the first female aviator to circumnavigate the world. She set a bunch of other aviation records as well. She promoted women's rights and commercial air travel, She was quite the lady for her time!

I’d love to get this box every month! One day soon. I also have decided not to buy Non size inclusive patterns anymore. I had a bad experience with two companies who updated their sizes but made you repurchase the pattern instead of provide the additional sizes or offer a discount. I decided to just keep making the pattern that I adjusted myself. It made me realize that I did alot of work to make it fit me, my least favorite part of sewing and I should support companies who choose to make size inclusive patterns on purpose from the start. I understand they need to make a profit, but it just made me think differently about my purchases. What is your favorite size inclusive pattern company? Right now I am enjoying chalk and notch. The Shay is on my list to make. I know you love the fringe, I need to make it a second time as I didn’t like my first one. I need to go up a size.
