Love the videos. I'm not one to question someone who is arguably the GOAT, but I noticed WRW kept moving left. Considerably left, looked like. At what point do you give up on that ball and pull one out that doesn't hook as much and stop struggling to keep it off the headpin?

When the lanes have been played on all day without re-oil, nowadays called double burn, it is normally best to get left where there is usually more oil than even in the center of the lane or right. The trick is to make great shots so that you can get lined up for the maximum amount of 'miss' area. Unfortunately I didn't do that well enough.

The level of bowling is so high now a days you have to be very consistent and score very high.
Walter tends to have about 4-5 errant lines in a 3 game set which is a few too many and imo needs a better strike ball.
It's funny because the eventual winner "Rakoski" threw the weakest strike ball in the step ladder but hit perfect high flush literally every shot which is crazy consistent.
The lanes in these tournies are imo too easy as another PBA bowler pointed out in one of his recent videos.
You know the lanes are too easy when most of the top guys were throwing low hook balls 3/4/5/6 hook ratings and still had strong shots hitting the pocket with Mike Bailey throwing just shy of an 800 3 game set.

There is a sad side to all of TH-cam which leaves a foul taste and that is you can't trust anyone doing "reviews"So for those that might be looking at some of the balls example the Artic Vibe your going to see sponsored videos just marketing reviews and not real solid honest reviews.
There is soooooo much you can do with ball speed how it is drilled where you throw it from revs lane conditions that a great bowler can make you believe anything they want you to sell the ball for his/her sponsors.
