Great video; shows the beauty of Airbus A330; that is so good to see how a wing works on approach and landing.
Sometimes on approach to JFK and many other US airports there are numerous turns and you were fortunate not to have to go through them. Looks like you got a direct approach. Been on flights to Atlanta where you can see the airport but it takes another 20 minutes to get there, turning and twisting and going around thunderstorms. But great machines get us there.

Nice video, enjoyed it very much. I have flown out of Frankfurt many times in the 70s, mostly DC-9s, MD80s, DC-10s and a few 747s. Airbus makes excellent planes and the A330-300 is a magnificent machine. It was wonderful to watch the intricate workings of the wing on this approach and landing. yea they really have.. me and my wife flew from Oslo to Miami November 25th 2013 and home again december 9th. All flights with Lufthansa... what a great experience the A380 was :) :) Sadly we didnt get the new bussiness class :) But great comfertable flight and what a awesome service :D :D :D

I love the Lufthansa Airshow Map and how it doesn't show ads in between. I will be flying on the Airbus 330 from Munich-Vancouver in the mini coach cabin behind business class. Im in row 26 so I guess this is a quiet location.

It seemed like the pilot brake hard after landing BTW god landing I like the way he does it
I thought so, because that's what it sounded like in the video; I could tell by the distinctive, high-pitch whine that they produce.
Why i liked this video:
1. repetitive spooling up of those RR engines
2. lots of aileron/spoiler flap movement
3. windy
4. no screaming kids or loud people.
AMAZING!!! BREATH TAKING!!!! The flaps went all they way wtf!!!! What kinda pilots would put the flaps to 10 degrees right away!!! Not even selecting 5 first!!!

Sorry I don't see how you can judge "windy" over some brisk roll correction. I didn't see a windsock anywhere to judge the wind. Normal stuff here. However, either the camera was on a tripod, or some supported surface, or this was an extremely smooth landing. Unlike the 320 family, the 330 is very forgiving on landing because of its trailing bogie taking the initial impact instead of the main strut. The runway appeared to be 31R. Nice vid!
